Silva grinned "Sure, we can all go~ And I have an idea. The birds usually nest at that place right across the river, right? We'll just head that way, and swim across the river on the way, so we'll be doing both~ It's not too far of a run, and it will get all of us warmed up" she explained, tail wagging. "Plus, if we find something extra, we can catch something for the males, whenever they decide to come back from that hunt they went on earlier. Seems like they've been gone forever~" Her tail tip twitched as she stood "Race you there!" bolting south as fast as she could

It made Kayalee feel better when Nerah decided to join the hunt, it would be easier with three hunting instead of two hunting. Kayalee sighed as Silva sprinted off south. I can't run in my position. Kayalee thought, walking south with a slight limp in her step. She took a deep breath and attempted to run, but almost fell onto the ground when pain like claws shot up her right foreleg. A soft mewling kit noise escaped Kayalee's closed jaws, but she sucked it up. She continued at a steady almost trotting pace. Soon only following Silva by her scent.

Silva had been running for almost five minutes when she realized her mistake Woops.....that was kind of stupid of me Rather Sheepishly, she skidded to a stop and turned around, trotting back north towards Kayalee. She paused for amoment, remembering she was an absonding, and closed her eyes, concentrating. The next thing she knew, she was teleported to practically on top of Kayalee.

"i'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" she squealed, clambering of the feline "Are you okay? I didn't' mean to land on you, I swear! I'm just a little new with this motion changing thing....And sorry, I forgot you were hurt, I wouldn't have challenged you to a race if I remembered. Sorry sorry, I'll walk alongside you this time, heheh"

Nerah shook her head, suppressing a giggle at the situation. "Are you all right, Kaya?" She looked between the feline and Silva. "We should all walk together. Then when we're near the nest, we can plan out our hunt." Her tail wagged at the thought of food. She was hungry, and the birds were among her favorite things to eat.

The multi-hued canine bounded forward a couple steps and then slowed down enough that a newborn with no walking experience could easily catch up to her. She continued that pace, looking over her shoulder to make sure the other two were coming.

Silva chuckled and adjusted her pace to keep pace with Nerah "I...forget stuff sometimes, I guess" she giggled, tail wagging. "Yeah, good plan. not that we'd need to plan out hunting the birdies anyways. Sometimes I wonder if they even have brains~" she giggled "Sometimes they act so clueless I don't get it at all" Slowing down a bit more, she suddenly paused, lifting her head into the air as she scented "Oh, smell that? fish! We're almost there!" her tail began wagging heavily. Silva loved swimming, except for that brief experience as an occult, and loved the water~ "I can't wait~"

Kayalee squealed when Silva landed on top of her, and crushed Kayalee against the ground. "Yea.. I'm OK." Kayalee muttered as she pulled herself to her paws. She shook out her fur and licked some of the dirt that had matted to her belly off. She waddled over up beside Silva and Nerah. Wow. Is it possible for anyone to be so happy? Kayalee wondered eyeing Silva who was practically bouncing while she walked. Kayalee wondered what happiness really meant, what was happy for one could be horrible for another... I wonder if there is really a true meaning to happiness. Kayalee wondered, her pace slowed a little to a limping walk.

[Meesh]

Silva chuckled, continuing her forward trot. she wagged her tail as the stream came into view "Here we are! We can swim across!" yipping with joy, the female jetted forward to give a flying leap into the river, landing with a huge splash. she hadn't been swimming since she evolved, and boy, did she miss it. Yipping with joy, the female swam in circles against the current, waiting for the other two to catch up "The nests are right on the other side of the river" she yelled across to them happily, tail wagging a mile a minute. "A nice swim, and then a good meal~ What an aamazing day~"

Kayalee padded towards the stream and inched into it. When her paws made contact with the clear, slow water it eased the stiffness in her muscles. When Silva splashed water fell all over her, she hadn't even gotten into the water fully but she was already soaked to the skin. Kayalee couldn't hold back a little purr of amusement. Kayalee eased herself fully into the water and began propelling herself so she could get closer to where Silva was. The water eased her muscles and after a few moments they were no longer tight. Kayalee's stomach growled, she was ready for an exciting hunt.

Nerah walked with the two as they made their way toward the water and jumped in after Silva when they arrived. It took some getting used to - the water was so much colder than she remembered, given her current near-baldness, but she adjusted soon enough and was alternating swimming with and against the current as soon as she was sure she wouldn't turn into an icicle.

"So we have this, and then hunting..." Her tail wagged at the thought of fresh bird meat. "Maybe even bring down some extra prey for the rest of the pack...and we should collect what feathers and such we can while we're at it."

Silva wagged her tail in agreement, paddling steadily towards the other side of the stream. Upon arriving, she climbed out and shook out her fur, sending sprays and droplets of water everywhere. Turning back to the other, looking alike a fluffy floof, she yipped "C'mon, lets head over to the nests now~ Good idea Nerah, we'll catch a bird or two for ourselves, and then a couple more for the guys, Antares and Yamir" she wagged her tail "You think they're still asleep? It suns only just risen, but they sure are lazy furballs~" she giggled. Shifting from paw to paw in excitement "c'mon, lets gogogo~ before all the birdies wake up, yupyup. Catching them while they're asleep is fun~"

Nerah followed her packmate, reluctantly ending the swim and shaking herself dry. When Silva asked if she thought the males were still asleep, she shook her head. "No idea. They might be, though." She giggled. "They can be. I can be too, sometimes, though. I dunno. I think it's a situation thing. They do need to accompany us more, though. I wanna hunt with them again sometime."

Silva then urged them onward, wanting to catch the birds in their sleep. "Is that...never mind." It seemed a bit unfair, but it would mean less injuries for the trio and the birds would feel less pain as they died...if the attack was quick enough, anyway. "Ready when you are."

All the above was posted last year, when the site was last open. Please disregard the above. The world has now progressed for about a year ic time. Now the den is much larger. It is composed of a large clearing surrounded by foliage, with a small creek running through one of the edges of camp. There is a shelter built mainly of leaves above the main cave for Nerah and Silva to sleep in, as well as any other future Absonding- as Absonding canines they cannot go into the main den/cave network without uncomfort.
