Kayalee leaped to her paws, her fur fluffed out. She was watching Silva writhing on the ground. What on earth is happening to that canine??! Kayalee thought, fear flashing in her bright aqua eyes. The canine's paws grew larger, no, the canine was just larger in general. She backed up against the outer den wall and stared wide-eyed at Silva as she stood up. "Wha--What J.... Just happened?" She asked, stumbling over the words when she heard Silva mutter, 'Again'. Was that supposed to happen? Was it normal? Questions assaulted Kayalee's mind, as she stood there, staring.

I would much rather have here here and safe, rather than alone and vulnerable" the black feline padded over to the entrance to grab the two bright orange birds at the entrance. "Yes, it got under my skin a bit, I should just let it go, but it's hard to after what Kayalee said" Antares curled his lip again, a hint of a growl low in his voice making a slight appearance. He started ripping the feathers out of one of the birds, a couple chunks of flesh being pulled out along with the feathers. He decided it would be more rational to pluck the feathers later, after he had calmed down.
Before he could even get up, Silva began to evolve again. Although Antares wasn't going to stress over it, Nerah evolved again not long ago. Silva would be safe as well, with no doubt. "Don't worry about her, she's evolving. She'll look like Nerah after she's done" Antares stepped in front of the other feline. "Are you alright, Silva?" Antares smiled at the newly evolved canine.

Silva nodded, looking down at the now tiny Antares and giving him a warm smile "A bit shook up, but alright" she assured him "I'm just surprised it's happened to me so quickly is all, without you or Yamir evolving yet. Maybe it -is- only a female thing" she blinked down at Kayalee "yeah, didn't you notice I was a lot bigger then you before? A couple days ago, Nerha and I transformed into these big creatures with psychic abilities. A couple days ago, Nerah evolved into...this" she pointed to herself "And I guess I caught up to her today. I don't know if we're still psychic or not, but now...." she remembered Nerah evolving, and racing to leave the gorge, almost seeming to dissapear a moment. Nerah concentrated on a tree limb high above them. The next thing she knew, she was clinging to the branch with all four legs several feet above the ground "I can teleport!" she yipped, looking down with wide eyes

Nerah was long in returning, but - when she did, she dragged four dead orange quail-like creatures with her. The birds hang by their necks in her jaws, tails trailing the ground as the canine walked.
When she arrived, Nerah dropped the birds near the felines. "This should be enough for now. They're all yours. I ate mine before coming back so I'd have one less to carry. Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I think they might be starting to learn that we're deadly, too. They were harder t find this time."
She sat down near Silva and looked around. "What did I miss? Nothing important, I hope. Also, where's Silva?"

Silva smiled at Nerah as she walked in, covered in orange feathers and looking like a walking featherball. As she opened her snout to speak, Nerah sat down a couple yards away. "What did I miss? Nothing important, I hope. Also, where's Silva?"
Silva stared at Nerah, trying not to explode into laughter. Keeping a straight face, she asked innocently "SIlva? Who'se this Silva you speak of? I wonder where she could be right now, don't you" she laughed, poking Nerah "It's me, you derp! I just evolved!" she said, laughing happily "Do I really look that different?" she waggled her tail

A familiar voice spoke, and Nerah looked around. Before she located the canine, she felt her poking her fur. "Ah!" She focused on the now larger canine. "Oh, hey there! Sorry." She studied her. "I figured that'd happen sometime, though I also figured I'd be there to see it. How do you feel?" The shadowy canine seemed fine, but it was possible to hide pain sometimes.
She twisted her neck around and began plucking the feathers from her fur. "Between this and what's on those birds there, we should easily have enough bedding for everyone tonight. If not, I can go collect some grass or something later."

Kayalee forced her fur to flatten, and her humorous looking surprised expression slowly faded from her face. She slowly laid herself back in the spongy grass. She wrapped her tail around herself, causing dew to flick off the grass and onto her now shimmering, wet silvery pelt. She laid her head between her paws after eyeing the small group around her. She wasn't very trusting of them. Yet. Kayalee's eyes slowly eased closed and she was about to tip over the edge of sleep and wake when a noise startled her. Her eyes snapped open and she moved her head around, looking for wherever the noise came from. Seeing nothing, she guessed she had imagined it, but Kayalee knew she wouldn't be able to sleep now.

Nerah looked over everyone. The feline was still injured, and it would take some time for her to heal from her injuries, but she was safe for now and would be given that chance as long as she remained where she was. The pack also seemed safe, happy, and well-fed. There really wasn't much to do except relax herself. The honey-colored feline curled up, eyes closed but ears still pricked and alert.
"I think I wanna go to the orchard soon," she stated after a moment. "It's been a while, and I need to check a certain something." She need not clarify. Her packmates knew who she was talking about.

Silva smiled at Nerah "No worries" she chuckled "And I feel amazing, the world seems so....teensy now though, heheh" She wagged her tail "Oh yeah, we've got enough feathers to give one of us wings, heheh~" she began picking feathers off her fur, "We should pile these into the dens somewhere" she chuckled in a friendly manner at Kayalee, who still looked startled, before yawning and giving a stretch. At Nerah's word,s she paused, then nodded "I go visit the orchard a lot~ I love the little babies~"
[Ner, b/c the liquid time thing, Silva's already rped with Hersh, you better catch up XD]

Nerah nodded. "I suppose...you go ahead though, if you feel up to it. I've developed a bit of a dislike for closed in spaces." She frowned. "It's odd...I was so excited about the cave, and I loved dens before. Nothing to do about it now, I suppose." Besides, she at least had her love of water back. And, personally, she would have always preferred the ability to be near water over being able to enter caves and dens. If she ever evolved again, maybe she would get the closed-in spaces back. But then, what would she sacrifice? Was it even possible to evolve again?

Silva blinked, shrugging a moment "Is that wh you panicked in the gorge?" she frowned "I haven't been in the cave, or near water, since I evolved, I don't know if I like either" she frowned deeper as she thought about it. She hadn't been near water since her first evolution, she had developed a sudden aversion to it, though now, that aversion seemed silly. did evolving change her personality? Hm, could she still go into the cave. Standing, Silva trotted over to the cave entrance, her former pride and joy. The moment she took a step inside, a nauseating feeling overcame her and her knees trembled, threatening to collapse. Quickly, the canine took a step back and tottered over to Nerah. "I can't even go inside" she blinked, surprised "Good thing we started working on an open area place as well. Lets make some rooms up in the trees. With our teleporting skills, building it and getting there should be cake!"

Kayalee's gaze followed Silva and Nerah as they attempted to enter the den. I wonder why evolved creatures don't like being in certain places, and how second evolved creatures drink if they hate water. Kayalee tried to pull a picture of an evolved cat into her mind, but failed. She hoped she could evolve into a cat's third stage. It would be so cool to be able to teleport! Kayalee thought, excited. A yawn suddenly stretched her face to its limits, and her eyelids dropped slightly. She stretched out her forelegs, pulled them back in, then laid her head sleepily on her front paws and fell over the edge of exhaustion into a deep sleep.

Nerah watched as Silva attempted to enter the den and failed. It seemed it was a species problem rather than an individual one. Well...she knew what to work on next time she had energy. Even with the inability to enter a cave, the absconding canines would need a way to escape from rain and other harsh weather. She nodded at the black canine's suggestion. "Tomorrow I'll see what I can do. I hope the boys are okay with finishing up the den, though I suppose now we'll need less room on the inside, huh?"
She turned her gaze to their visitor, who now seemed to be sleeping. She sighed. "I hope she'll be okay."

Silva nodded as well, eyes softening as she gazed at the sleeping form, almost as if she were watchmaking a pup sleep. "she's young and strong, she'll be fine" silva assured eh best friend, turning her gaze so she looked up at the towering trees. Plans for houses made of wood and leaves filled her minds eye. She blinked, brow furrowing. She thought she had gotten rid of her images when she evolved, but no....the image came again, clearer. A large hut, woven from plainsgrass and leaves that would be strong enough to support even the biggest of Absondings, but light enough not to be harmed in any sort of weather. It was perfect!

"I hope you're right." Nerah turned to her friend, who now seemed to be staring intently at the trees. So intently that Nerah wondered what she was seeing or thinking about. Even if she asked, she wasn't sure she would be able to fully comprehend an answer. She was getting tired, and the feeling was coming over her rather rapidly now that she was resting. She would have to give in to sleep soon, no matter how much she'd rather stay awake and watch over everyone. Sometimes the body was more powerful than the mind, and base instincts ruled over raw willpower.
((Do we wanna do a time-skip to morning or are there other things we can do?))
