{StarPack} StarPack Den

[Aries]

Antares nodded in agreement to both of them and quickly crawled to the back of the hole. He would fit better back there since we was the smallest of the bunch.

"I'll make the ceiling higher back here, so that we can work to widen the room" Antares declared the cramped space making his voice harder to hear. He used both front paws to claw the dirt and roots from above to to make and easier work space for everyone. Even if he was slow working and small he was efficient for his size and worked his best at heightening the room, which made everything faster overall.

[Meesh]

Silva nodded in approval as Antares moved deeper into the hole then either of them could reach, not anticipating his size to be of such advantage. As he worked on clearing the roof, making it easier for Silva to stand upright, she continued digging in the walls, carefully rounding the corners until it looked like the room was one big circle.

"This is pretty good" Silva finally announced, looking around. The room was large and very comfortable looking, completely round and high enough for even Nerah to stand without ducking. The walls were circular, giving the room a comforting feel of being in a pod. "Maybe we can sleep here?" Silva suggested. "And we can hide a secret tunnel behind one of these walls"

Even with their combined efforts, the dig seemed to take a while. That was to be expected: it was a big project. It would take her days to get the den just how she wanted it, and if new creatures joined them then they would need to continue the work. At least it was fun work. She couldn't imagine doing something she hated for this long.

Thanks to her two packmates, the finished room had a neat, circular shape to it. If she had worked alone, the walls and ceiling fo the room would have been irregular and sloppy looking. It was amazing how much better even a small group could do than a solo creature.

Silva suggested the room be where they slept, and Nerah nodded. "That'd be fine with me."

After a moment, she started feeling the itch to wander around. She didn't want to leave her friends, but it washard to ignore, and - anyway - she would be back soon enough.

"But for now..." She grinned at her friends. "I think I'll have a bit of a run. I suddenly have a lot of energy and I want to go and burn it before restlessness has a chance to make me irritable." She laughed. "Besides, we've all earned a break." She made her way out of the den, stretched, and took off, her instincts leading her to places previously unexplored.

Antares nodded on agreement with the others, it did look good, and comfortable too. It was a bit bare though, it wouldn't be comfortable to sleep on the dirt. Nor would it be clean.

"We could add the tunnel over there" the feline walked over to where the ceiling was highest, and thinnest" His idea would make it more of an opening, but it would make a lot less work for them. "We could hunt some birds later to line the den, to make it more comfortable" he scrunched his nose at the dirt, waking up with dirt all over his pelt would be a nightmare to clean.

I'll go for a bit of a run as well for a bit, maybe stretch out my legs. When I get back, we can work some more" Reaching forward to give Antares a goodbye nuzzle, she turned tail and began slowly trotting out of her den territory. And Antares's last comment, she paused, turning "The birds? Okay, I'll bring some back" with a final wave of her tail, Silva dissipated among the trees and was gone. [I'd like to clear up a thread too :3 I'll return either in a couple of days, or if something in the rp arises that needs me XD No worries, I'm still on the exploration thread ^.^ Plus, when I return, I'll rp being evolved and you'll act like nothing changed or somewhat XD]]

Antares gave her eat an affectionate lick on the ear on farewell. He could probably work on that escape tunnel while they were both out.. Or he could take a nice nap. Yeah, a nap sounded good.

The feline followed Silva out of the den, so that he could nap in the sun. If any of the birds bothered him mid-nap it would go to good use for both his stomach, and the den. With a spine tingling stretch Antares smoothly flopped onto his side. Shutting his eyes was relaxing, slipping into sleep didn't take long. It was only moments before he was off in a dream, there's not telling what it could be about though.

((Hehehe XD That's what I love about this thread...though I wouldn't mind it being a sub-board instead. I won't count on that. Besides, it's handy to have a place we can RP on slow times and leave when we want another thread.))

A howl preceded her arrival by several minutes, and when she did arrive back at the den it was at a brisk walk rather than a run. When she came in sight of the den she slowed and finally stopped just outside it. She rolled onto her sighed and remained there a moment, panting and wagging her tail. If either of the males were there and awake, they'd notice something very different about her.

"Phew!" She exclaimed when she caught her breath. "That was something..." She stretched and looked looked around. "I hope I didn't miss anything terribly exciting, though it feels like I've been gone long enough to miss several somethings."

Silva caught up with Nerah, panting. "Why...did you...leave...gorge...so...fast" she panted, staring up at her friend who was- again- nearly twice her size, "You grew again! That's crazy Nerah, it's been a little over a day since your first evolution" she blinked up at her friend "And that was crazy fast. You almost seemed to teleport. I could have sworn I saw you dissapear for a second there" she blinked up at her friend "Slow down and let the males catch up with the changing"she chuckled "do you think it's going to happen again? Maybe by next week you'll be the size of a tree!"

[Hazelstar]

Kayalee limped alone the edge of a clearing, still pretty weak from being torn up by Apani. Her wounds had closed and stopped bleeding, and her pelt was silvery once more. Kayalee was just about to break the treeline into a clearing when she sniffed the air, startled. It was a large group of creatures. Why oh why did she have to stumble across a group when she was far to weak to move. She continued to limp through the bushes and trees, this time away from the clearing. She knew the group would smell her, she knew she didn't stand a chance against an attack. She knew if she was attacked she wouldn't defend herself with anything but words, but she wasn't ready to stand up against anyone. Not know. She slid into a bush and flopped to the ground, breathing heavily from the strain she had put on herself.

Silva paused in her exclaiming random stuff to Nerah as she scented a familiar scent. Out of the woods came that female form a couple days ago- that one in the cult. What was her name again....Oh yeah "Hello Kayalee" Silva said, surprised "You may not recognize me, as I'm evolved now, but I'm Silva. I saw you some days ago" she walked over to the female, concern knitting her face "Are you okay? Your wounds don't look like they've healed completely yet...." she walked over, tail wagigng slightly "Don't worry, I'm not here to fight" she assured the other
