((I guess I'll start us off. XD))
It was morning before Nerah even knew she had been asleep. Bits of gray between the trees told her that the sky was overcast. It wasn't raining now, but it might rain later that day. That was fine by her, though. The trees offered plenty of shelter from bad weather on their own, so she could stay dry even without being able to enter the cave, as long as she knew where to stand during a storm.
The brown canine stood and stretched, and then looked around, wondering who else was up and about. "Good morning, everyone!" Well, if they were asleep, that might wake them. Oops.

Silva yawned and woke up. She had slept surprisingly well outside the cave, sleeping right at the top of the den. she hadn't even gotten that wet. Shaking out her fur, she wagged her tail, standing "Nerah, morning~" she greeted her friend, hopping down from the cave to stand over beside her and give her a friendly good morning nuzzle "How are you?" her long plumed tail wagged "I love mornings!~" turning her head, she sniffed the air "I wonder if Antares and Yamir Yamir are awake yet?" she mused, walking over tot he edge ov the cave where she sat about a foot from the entrance, tail twitching.

At least one other creature was awake. Silva had been quick to greet and nuzzle her. Nerah giggled: her friend was in a really good mood. She guessed she couldn't blame her, though. They had carved out a pretty good life for themselves, here. It was hard to think of any part of life as being bad at all.
"I'm good." Nerah returned the nuzzle, tail wagging. "What about you? Sleep well?"She watched as Silva approached the cave and wondered out loud if the males were awake yet. "I doubt it. I think they'd be out here with us if they were."

Silva nodded, turning on her heel to walk back to sit next to Ree. "I suppose they'll wake up eventually" she finally agreed, yawning and giving a long stretch. "I wonder how the feathering of the inside of the den is going?" Silva still felt pretty bad about not being able to help out more, but with her evolution, she couldn't get near the inside of the cave. Ah, well. This teleporting ability sure came int handy. With a concentrated stare at the top of the tree, Silva found herself on top of this huge treelimb she had seen in her previous vision. "Woah, you can see the entire forest from here!" she barked in excitement.

Nerah smiled at her friend and packmate. "The can't sleep all day...tempting as it might be, there's hunting and construction and care-taking to be done." Poor Kaya...deep inside, Nerah knew she'd recover, but the whole situation had been nothing short of traumatizing. How anyone would be that viscous, she simply didn't know. The pack had its own territory, too, but they didn't attack strangers. Why should they? But as she as learning, creatures were completely different, and things one creature did wouldn't always make sense to another creature.
Then Silva disappeared, reappearing in a tree a moment later. Nerah blinked. How...? She knew teleportation was possible, but she didn't know how to control it yet.
"How are things looking?"

Silva perched, rather precariously, on her branch, standing up to get a better view "Why not join me and find out? there's plenty of branches up here, and most of them are storing enough to support any of us!" she yelled down at her friend, projecting her voice so she was heard over the wind, which seemed considerably louder up here without leaves to block it. Again, the image of the treehouses filled her head, stronger this time, with the scent of them in the air. "Anyhoo, we just need some of that extra strong lake grass from the plains, and I bet you we can make an amazing hut up here~ I allready have visions of it~" she called down again, claws digging into the wood as to not slip off.

Silva invited Nerah to join her, and the brown canine shook her head. "I...I'm not sure how to do it on purpose." She approached the tree and pressed her front legs against it, looking up through the branches. "How did you manage that?" She jumped, falling far short of the lowest branch. Looked to her like she was grounded for now.
Silva then mentioned visions of a hut. As she spoke, the same visions came to her, but Nerah had no idea how they could make something like that. Maybe Silva knew a way, since she was the original envisioner.

She crouched down, calling to Nerah "It's not too hard. Just...think about where you want to go, I guess." she flicked her tail, thinking "Uhm, imagine yourself there, but you also have to WANT to be there and KNOW that you want it. then you just kind of....are there. But try to imagine the above branch and exactly where you want to be as vividly as possible" another gust of wind shook her branch, but Silva was ready for it this time and kept her claws buried deep in the wood "Oh yeah, deep a tight eye out for wind, it unbalances you" she added, tottering precariously on the branch.

Nerah frowned at Silva's explanation. It still seemed like an impossible task. Even if she got up there, what was to top a deadly fall? She'd have to be very exact in her wanting and knowing or...she shivered, trying not to think about what it would feel like to suddenly be high up and plummet straight to the ground below. Not a pleasant thought at all.
But if she had an ability, she'd better learn how to use it. Keeping everything Silva said in mind, she concentrated on the branch. The world became distorted and disorienting after that, and she found herself falling...only a short way, though, as she collided with a familiar furry black form.
"Eek! Sorry!" Nerah looked out at the world, impressed by the view. "I can see what you're saying, though..." She scrambled to get off the other canine while stil keeping balanced on the branch. She would not want to fall from this height. "Hmmm... I wonder how far this can take us." She was still for a moment as she thought to herself, and then vanished.

Silva was looking down at her friend way below when a furry form practically landed on top of her, quickly scrambling onto the branch and digging her claws in "Oh, Nerah, you scared me. Eh, I guess it's fine" Silva chuckled, claws still dug firmly into the wood. She blinked at Nerah's words "Hmmm... I wonder how far this can take us.", and blinked again when Nerah vanished from site. Silva blinked, hoping Nerah wasn't anywhere dangerous, settling herself down on the branch to wait for Nerah to come back after realizing what had happened.
(Want to fast forward a couple of days so it's all good with the cult events?)

((Okay, fast forwarded))
It had been several weeks since the incident at the Cult. The Treedens had been coming along quite nicely, a solid floor made out of woven reeds [they can weave them with their muzzles, since tying would be a bit hard XD] had been established, making a platform among the leaves where several sleeping absondings could rest without falling off. Silva lay, resting, not quite sleeping, in one of these. Ever since leaving this Cult, she had been a lot quieter, a bit slower with a friendly grin or smile, but she was pretty much the same old Silva. She worried about Nerah though, wondering if her friend had been altogether honest when she assured the others that Hershey would live best in he Cult. Seeing how it treated outsiders, Silva was inwardly terrified of how the other females would react to their leader protecting the little one. But ah well, no time for dwelling in the past.
She yawned, then stretched, standing. A cool breeze had begun, cooling her jetblack fur.
