Nerah stood on top of the den and immediately shook dust and leaves from her pelt. "That...is fun!" She giggled. "Though I think I like running about as much. Takes longer, but you get to see more."

She yawned and stretched before hopping off the den and onto the ground. "It is a bit disorienting, too. Takes some getting used to I guess." She looked up at the tree. "It seems peaceful everywhere, though. You'd never know there'd been a fight recently. I guess that's to be expected, but...I dunno...I guess it was a bigger deal to us than the world in general, huh?"

Silva smiled, concentrating until she was right next to Nerah "I can get used to this" she giggled "but yeah. Running is pretty fun. I guess this skill is only for places that are too far to run, or too high up or something" at Nerah's words, she sobered and nodded "Hard to tell, with this place being so peaceful. You know, I'm sure the cult members couldn't object to you showing up every once in a while to check up on him. He is your son, after all, and it is...well...a cult" she shrugged, looking up at the sky "It sure is a peaceful day though" she admitted, tail tip twitching

Nerah nodded when Silva said teleporting was best used for places that were too far or otherwise inaccessible. "I guess so. I'm liking it, though. We may as wel be able to fly." She giggled.

Then the subject turned to Hershey, and she nodded. "I think that was the best possible outcome, really. Whsper's your friend. I trust her. If Hershey stayed with us, then Arya would have access to the den, and...well...I don't think the boys would like that very much." She sighed. "As long as I can see him again, I'll be happy."

The subject changed again and she nodded. "It is. I'm glad it's not storming yet. There's still much to be done."

Nerah replied with "I guess so. I'm liking it, though. We may as well be able to fly." and Silva chuckled, nodding "That would be fun, actually" as the topic turned to Hershey, she nodded "But,to be honest, I'd rather Arya come to visit him occasionally rather then raise him. ah well, as long as Whisper is with him, I'm sure he'll be safe" shrugging, she nodded at the weather "I don't' see any clouds, so we should be good for a couple of days. The treedens are pretty well along though, so that's good" she smiled at the woven floors high above her "And they'll keep out the worst of the rain, if there is ever any"

Nerah nodded. "Whisper's got him. I hope she brings him over soon. I miss him already." She sighed. "I guess life can't be perfect at every moment." Her gaze tilted downward. "And I wish I knew what I did to Arya to make her seek love elsewhere, though I suppose that's for the best, too. I'd regret the situation if not for him, you know. I don't regret his existence. I can't. Anyway...life's not all bad, the weather's nice, and you're right. The den's coming along very nicely. I'm glad we settled here."

Silva's ears flicked "Hm. I hope that we told her where our den was, and too feel free to visit" she pointed out. At Nerah's words, she frowned, hating to see her friend so upset. She padded over to sit by Nerah "And I'm sorry it didn't work out with Arya. I really am. Hersh is a great pup, once he grows up, it will be nice seeing him again" she smiled, glancing down on the still visible bite-marks on her left paw "And he'll sure grow up to be a strong one, that's for sure"

She glanced up at the sky "Yeah, I love the forest~"

Nerah nodded when Silva spoke. "Everything's been arranged, I think. I...wasn't as clear-minded as I could have been, but I'm pretty sure things were worked out before we left."

Nerah sighed as Silva talked about Hershey. "I am sorry he hurt you. I...he's not entirely healthy. At least, his pod wasn't. And something felt off about him. We...we were too young. Maybe that was it. And we hurt him because of it." She shuddered. "I won't be having another child for a while. I want to make sure the next one doesn't suffer from my inexperience. It's bad enough that one did." She looked in the direction of the river. "Maybe Whisper'll help him compensate for his weaknesses and give him a happy life."

She smiled when Silva said she loved the forest. "Me, too."

Silva flicked an ear "Okay, if you say so then"

She blinked at Nerah's words "I'm sure he'll be fine. He looked a bit small, but considering I was small for my age as well, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. And it's alright. He was scared, and I was angry at the time." she chuckled "Anyhoo, without the bite marks, how would he even recognize me, now that I evolved?" with a chuckle. "Anyhoo, Whisper will be good for him. Maybe we can ask her to come visit us soon, and bring the pup along"

She looked up at the leaves again "It's a lot prettier then the river, or the plain, anyhoo. The forest is so beautiful~"

"You're right." She smiled. "And you've become big and strong, able to handle yourself as well or better than anyone." She giggled, feeling a bit more like her usual self. "But...I suppose it's a mother's instinct to worry. I'd probably be in his state even if he was the strongest, healthiest newborn I'd ever seen."

She giggled again when Silva asked how he'd recognize her without the marks. "Your scent's still similar to what it was. Stronger, but similar. I suppose mine's the same way." Then she said they should invite Whisper and the pup along and her tail wagged. "Perhaps we can show him how to hunt...if he's ready for that."

"I do prefer the forest to other places," she said after a moment. "Though said other places have their own kind of beauty."

Silva chuckled, smiling in return "Hm, I suppose so. I sure hope to have pups one day, anyhoo~ I love meeting newly hatched sproutlings, and knowing I was the mother of one of them would make me the happiest person in the world~" she nodded eagerly at Nerah's next words "yes, teaching him how to hunt would be fun~ I wonder how we can get a message over to him and Whisper?" she thought of something then, eyebrow raising "Hey, have you ever wondered who our own parents were?"she thought about it, tail tip twitching "I wonder what ever could have happened to them, y'know?"

Nerah smiled at her packmate. "You would make the most beautiful pups." Her tail wagged at the thought. "I'd love to see them born. And it'll be fun to teach them everything we've learned in our lives. You know, it feels like we've been existing forever. It really hasn't been that long, though, has it? We just learned and grew really quickly." And it still puzzled her how to trigger an evolution, especially since she wanted to see the male half of their pack evolve just as she and Silva had. What had caused it in them? Would it be the same for the males? Was it a time thing or an action thing? It couldn't be environmental because they had experienced most things together...

"I was hoping Whisper could come by within a few days," she answered when Silva asked about hunting. When the black canine asked about their parents, Nerah blinked. "Maybe the trees were our parents? I don't know if I'm right, but it feels like we're the first generation, you know? If we did have canine parents, maybe they went beyond where we can follow for now. You know, like how we were confined to the orchard, then found this place, and now we can travel through more of the world. I don't think we've seen the whole world yet. I dunno."

I'd love to see them some day~" her tail began waggling of its own accord. "Eh. Maybe once I find someone, I'll have some pups" she flicked an ear at Nerah's observation "Yeah, it does feel like forever. I go to visit the pups in the orchard and they seem so young, compared to us." her thoughts wandered to the males as well, and she voiced aloud "Hey, you remember that time, a little after we learned to talk, that you and I went out to hunt those birds? Maybe that one bird we ate had some sort of special chemical in it that made us evolve. We didn't save any for the guys, remember? And, since no one else evolved that we've ever me,t maybe that caused it" She blinked at Nerah's words "Hm, maybe. I like to think our parents were the trees though~ It was my tree that gave me my name, Silva.~" her tail continued wagging "And there really are a lot of places out there. I've seen a lot of them, but I haven't explored many of them."
