Nerah nodded. "Someday. You'll find someone, I know it. You're too sweet and pretty to not attract someone. Maybe I'll even find love someday. Love that maybe isn't so fickle...we'll see there." She laughed. "In the meantime, I have three awesome packmates to keep me from feeling lonely.

Silva asked if Nerah remembered their first hunt. "Maybe...but the boys have been eating the very same birds since then. Maybe it was a situational thin combined with the birds?" It was a thought, anyway.

Nerah blinked when Silva said a tree gave her her name. "Really? I wasn't conscious when I was on a tree. Or, if I was, I don't remember it. I dunno where my name came from." She shrugged. "Maybe we're meant to find the answer to who our parents are later, whether it is the trees or another canine. You know, after we've traveled the world a bit and learned a lot more about our existence."

And definitely, our pack-mates are the best~" Nerah shook her head about the idea with the birds "No, it's not the birds in general, I'm wondering if there were something with those particular birds. Remember, they didn't act like others of their kind? Maybe they were just lookalike taste-alike but different species." her tail twitched "like, mutated ones or something" Silva cocked her head to the side "I wasn't conscious until just before my pod fell. I kind of woke up, got my name, and then I kind of felt this falling....and it split open" she blinked at Nerah's theory "Yeah, maybe. Actually, that's probably it" she grinned at her friend "Not that it matters too much anyhoo~"

Nerah nodded when Silva wished them both luck. "In a way, all four of us have had luck. I mean, we found each other almost right away." She giggled. "Remember first seeing Antares? When he tumbled down that slope? Oh man...I was scared then...it's funny now, since I know he came out of it all right. And then Yamir came to us...I had been worried he didn't want anything to do with us." She shook her head. "Sorry. It's just a really awesome memory."

She tilted her head to the side when Silva explained about the birds being different. "Maybe...I wonder how we can find out...maybe we won't be able to until one of the guys evolved from eating a vicious bird. I have a feeling it's going to be quite some time until we change forms again, if we ever do. I'm happy with the way I am now, mind you."

She listened again as Silva talked about her experience in the pod. "Maybe. I must just have been napping when it was my time. It did feel like waking up, when I first opened my eyes."

She felt a sudden, intense itch all over her body and began to scratch, pulling out clumps of honey-colored fur each time claws raked against skin. "Nn!" SHe began biting off clumps of fur when her claws got all they could reach. As the fur came off her body, it revealed soon-to-be-fur stubble growing out of her skin in a seemingly random pattern of white, tan, and brown splotches.

And remember how we couldn't walk at all?" she chuckled, remembering stumbling around "Well, for me it wasn't walking that was hard, more like stopping. And remember learning to talk" she giggled "My first word was....hello, I think. Yeah, it was hello" briefly, she remembered the time, the four little balls of fluff staring at each other and barking at each other (Or meowing, in Antares's case) until they could form words. She giggled "Or when we were all howling at the moon, except for Antares, he was yowling" Her nostalgic memories where interrupted as she saw all of Nerah's fluffy fur drop out. Silva's jaw dropped and she was about to have a mild panic attack when she saw a new layer of fur growing in, fur growing in randomly marked colored patches. "Now, I may not have much experience in this, but that was the oddest evolution I've ever seen" she managed to say. "I hope that doesn't happen to me. I like my coat color....It's pretty though~"

"Itchyitchyitchyitchyitchy!" Nerah whined as she rubbed against a nearby tree, letting the rough bark scrape off the loosely-attached honey fur that claws and teeth couldn't reach. It seemed to take forever for the fur to all come off and another eternity for the itching to subside. Finally, she stopped and shook her whole body, dislodging the few furs that remained...and then she scratched against the bark a few more times for good measure. Her skin was visibly raw and red and it ached from so much stimulation, but the ace was a sort of relief for the now multi-hued canine.

"That's better..." She sighed and rolled around on the ground. "Cold, but better. Sorry." Silva stated that that was the oddest evolution she'd seen, and Nerah shook her head. "I don't think I've changed species or anything. There wasn't the pain or distortion of the body with this. I just suddenly felt really itchy and now it's all better." She glanced over as much of her body as she could. "Ooh...but this is an improvement..." She smiled at her friend. "I wouldn't worry about it. Your fur is so awesome I don't think it's possible for it to get much better. Anyway, I remember all that. I think 'hello' was the first word for all of us." Her smile widened. "Life was awesome then...and is still awesome, even with the low points."

Kayalee's eyes fluttered slowly open, and she stretched out, sinking her claws into the dirt. She stretched out her back by leaning forward, then leaning back. She was about to start grooming herself when she saw a multicolored canine in the area near her. "Who's that....?" Kayalee said, uncertainly. The canine looked familiar but she couldn't place it. She sniffed at the canine, it was the same scent as.... Nerah. "Nerah? Is that you? Did you evolve?" Kayalee asked quickly, looking up at the canine that was probably three times her size. The canine's fur which used to be a color that Kayalee could only describe as caramel had turned to a odd multicolored creation, with colors so different but so alike.

Silva flicked an ear "Good morning Kayalee. Both Nerah and I evolved several days ago, actually. This is just Nerah's fur color...uhm....changing" she blinked, sniffing Nerah "First dark brown, then honey colored, now this? I wonder what color you'll be next." she joked, tail wagging. Her eyes grew msity as she nodded at Nerah's words "Yes, it was, now that I think of it. And life really was epic~" she then turned back to Kayalee, walking over and giving her a friendly sniff "Are you feeling better? You've been asleep for quite a while now"

[Hazelstar]

Kayalee listened to Silva's exclamation, she stiffened a little when Silva sniffed her. "I'm still sore, and a few of my deeper wounds sting a little, other then that I'm fine." Kayalee meowed, then stood up and bowed forward, continuing her morning stretches. She pulled herself into a sitting position then lifted her left forepaw, licked it and brushed it over her ears. She then twisted her head around to lick her back, her legs, and all other parts of herself she could lick clean. She pulled herself to her paws and winced slightly. She limped slightly to a small pool of water and lapped up the water, it was fresh and soothing in her raw throat.

Silva blinked, tilting her head slightly to the side "If you want, I can go hunt something for you" she offered "Our territory is full of these orange feathered birds that are the tastiest things in the world~" she grinned "and fun to catch, too~ there should be a lot of them out and about this time of day" she frowned as she noticed how sore Kayalee seemed to be "And, I don't know much about plants, but I'm sure I can find you something for soreness if you want it....though there's a very nice stream down south a bit, very relaxing to swim in, and no current at all~" She smiled

Kayalee was about to say she wasn't very hungry, but her stomach snarled before she could say a word, she hadn't eaten anything but a mouse and squirrel when she was first born, and a strange plains creature a few days ago. "It's... It's ok I can catch something on my own... Hopefully." She meowed in a shaking voice, she muttered 'hopefully' very quietly, not knowing if an evolved form could hear her or not. "I don't need herbs, I can manage without them." Kayalee then meowed quickly. "How far is a bit down south?" Kayalee wondered out loud, she loved swimming and knew it would be good for her wounds and sore muscles.

[Meesh]

Silva flicked an ear. She had heard the last word, but not clearly enough to understand it. "Wells, just in case, howsabout I come along?" she offered "Hunting in groups is fun, anyhoo~" at Kayalee's next question, she flicked an ear "Oh, not too far, just a couple minutes at a steady walk. I can show yo?" she offered "It's a really nice stream. It's what waters the drinking hole, and it's really pretty~" her tail wagged "Swimming is fun~" she smiled, remembering her first time swimming. The current had been kind of strong in the river near the river garden, but really nice~ and that was the day Nerah made her first evolution, too. Silva too, of course, but not until some hours later.

((by the way, in case anyone is wondering, I made a quick sketch of how I imagine the territory to look like, just so I don't confuse people :3 It's probably not what it actually looks like, I just like making myself visuals ^^))

Kayalee let out a small sigh, she didn't like being babied, but a hunting partner wasn't exactly being babied. "Ok, hunting partners." She meowed, then added. "What should we do first?" Her stomach snarled at her again and she scuffed her paws in the dirt, a little bit embarrassed. "Umm.... I guess we should hunt first." She meowed, then added very quickly. "If you want to that is." She looked up at the twice evolved canine, it hurt the back of her neck to look up at the canine, but, it didn't hurt as much as her other wounds. She lowered her head and looked around, then wondered what the strange birds looked like.

Kayalee joined them, and Nerah wagged her tail at her. "Aheh...yeah...but you now, I think I'm meant to stay looking like this for a while. Well..." She glanced at her tail, thin due to lack of long fur. "Once my fur grows in, that's what I'm supposed to look like or a while."

She was quiet as Silva and Kayalee conversed, content on simply listening. They planned a hunt and a swim. That sounded to Nerah like a great way to pass the time. "Hope you don't mind if I take along." She wagged her tail. "A good hunt will get me nice and warmed up."
