This is my thread for dumping stuff about me, my characters, and my plots. If you wanna know what I'm up to, this is the place to be.

about the 'balt

I'm a fifteen year old genderfluid "she", and I do things sometimes. Like this. This is a thing I do. I also draw, write, sing, and play violin, french horn, and trumpet. Art is neat. Maybe I can do it professionally someday.

I'm Cobalt because that was my favorite color when I first started making accounts everywhere, and it stuck. Colors are neat too. Yeah. uwu

so who's this guy?

This is Cantando.
You can also call him Tando.
He is male.
And an aboriginal canine.

He was named for his singsong voice - Cantando as a direction in music means "as though singing". I got him because I wanted to start fresh fourth season, instead of trying to pick Zumarra back up.

Appearance - This male is tall and slender. He has long ears, and a thin, pointed muzzle. His thick, medium-length pelt is dark blue-gray with white and black peppering and smudges. His eyes are large and pale gold.

Personality - It's odd to see someone who holds themselves so gracefully and confidently giggle and joke in a singsong tenor, but that is exactly what Tando does. Appearing mature but speaking childishly, he finds humor in nearly every situation. He approaches the world with fascination, and a love for absurdity and oxymorons. He also loves to talk, chattering away as though he's trying to confuse others. Which he isn't, consciously at least, but he doesn't really mind either way. Tando just wants to enjoy life, whatever that entails.

He definitely likes friends, but in order to make them they have to be willing to put up with him poking fun at them constantly. He's more likely to make rivals, if anything. That, and he thinks his outlook on life is the correct one and therefore he is infallible. That, hopefully, will change with time and experience. What isn't likely to change is the wonder and fancy which seems to surround everything he does.

Cantando is born from the Kata-Hal and begins wandering to try and get used to being a not-tree. He meets another energetic podling, Morse, and the two decide to travel together for a time, setting out for the Blue Plain first.

what's up next?

I think it'd be neat for Tando to gain a rival of sorts. Someone irritated by how he finds everything so funny. He also hasn't been given his nickname yet, so anyone who'd like to meet him is free to do that.
