"You're right, I'll make sure to watch out for those too, getting pit or scratched doesn't sound pleasant" Antares grimaced, still clinging to Yamir's tail.

Yamir's squirming didn't help the feline get off of his tail, it just made him cling to his tighter. Antares used his body weight to pull his tail down and pin it to his chest. Realizing The canine's movement were rubbing his fur into the ground, getting it all gross and dirty, he quickly hopped back to his feet.

"Look what you did!" he gasped cleaning the fur on his back swiftly, brushing the unkempt looking hairs flat.

Yamir looked horrified by Nerah's words. "I do not love any of you. I tolerate you all for reasons unknown. But it probably has to do with food." Man, even to himself, he sounded unconvincing. He tried to compensate by putting on his best 'well maybe you won the argument but I'm still more clever than you' face. "Love...and shiny things." He blinked slowly, frown in its rightful place.

His head turned to address the issue that was hanging off his tail. "You have my sincerest apologies, King Antares."

"It isn't..." Nerah shuddered at the memory. That event had almost been a complete disaster. They had ended up full and happy, but they had endured a lot of pain for those rewards. This world was wonderful and she couldn't ask for a better life, but some lessons were very harshly learned.

Only for us, she told herself. We learn them so no one else has to learn them the hard way like we do. She liked that thought. Maybe there were older creatures around somewhere, but she had yet to meet any that looked or acted significantly older than herself.

She giggled when Yamir responded to her. Even she didn't believe what he had just said. He did love them. He wouldn't be around them otherwise. He then repeated what she had said, and she nodded. "Uhuh. It's an epic quest!"

The play between the males resulted in dirty fur for the feline. She giggled. "No worries. We all get a little muddy."

Posting now :3) Silva had been consumed with laughter during the entire spectacle. She had quickly gotten more serious during the hunt, and now as the four enjoyed their catch, she happily gnawed on a bird wing. "That was a good hunt. We made a really amazing team when we set our minds to it, y'know?" she paused, looking up at the sky "Think of how far we've come from little sproutlings first learning how to walk and talk. You know what? We're....we're amazing!" she giggled "That sounds a little conceited, but it's true, if you really think about it" after a pause "You're all my best friends in the entire world~"

Nerah, meanwhile, was sitting and watching the others, having wolfed down her food. She was uncomfortably full now, which meant she was in a great mood. Greater than usual, even. She giggled at Silva's comments. "We certainly do. I said it before and I'll say it again. I'm glad we all met when we did." Her tail wagged at the praise. "And that goes for me, too. I can't imagine life being any different, except for hte stability of our own place, but we'll get there."

Now that she had some time to relax, the image of the den kept flashing into her mind, clearer now. she had been restless for some time, eager to see this new home for real and not just in her dreams. Her tail wagged as she imagined the new den. It would be pretty amazing, she was sure of it! She nodded at Nerah's words "Yeah. I mean, we can literally say we were born together, which is so great!"

"It is!" Nerah stood and stretched. She was anxious to see the den, but this time she would wait until she was sure everyone was ready. It was pointless to go find it alone when they had been together up to this point, anyway. She smiled as she remembered their short time together. "Bound together by simply coming upon each other right after escaping the pods..." She couldn't remember ever being in the pod, though se knew she had been. Her first memory was taking up for the first time in a beautiful green world.

With all they had caught, they could make a large den comfortable for sure. The orange birds had gloriously long and soft tail feathers, he had piled all of the feathers into organized heaps by varying length carefully placing them in a manner as to not get them dirty. "It was a good, successful hint, huh?" the feline relied with a mouthful of feathers. "We really have come far, I mean how many others do you think got this far in their first few days of life?" he laughed, flicking his ears forward to listen quietly and eat during the rest of the conversation.

"Better than I expected." Nerah smiled at the feline. "I could feast on those things my whole life..." She licked her lips. The birds tasted wonderful, and weren't impossible to bring down...especially the way she was now. Granted, now she needed more of them than she would as an aboriginal. Back in those days, one bird had fed both herself and Silva. She didn't mind, though.

"It seems like we've been together for ages," Nerah spoke again. "It's only been a few days, but I feel a lot older now, and like this is how everything has always been." It was an odd feeling, but not an unpleasant one.

"We've only been a live...a week now, I believe, and we've already explored most of the orchard, and the entirety of this area. The blue plains, the river, even the forest!" she smiled, reminiscing "It's obvious that the four of us have come far" she happily knawed on the bird. Silva had thought about it, and decided these birds were her favorite prey. After all, it was a bird that was Silva and Nerah's first catch. Plus they were just plain yummy! Silva frowned at the nick in Antares's ear "Is your ear alright? Bleeding or anything?" she leaned forward to inspect it closer. Though Silva had received a few cuts from the birds, it was nothing compared to the cuts she got when fighting them as an unevolved pup for the first time with Nerah.

"Has it been a week?" Nerah frowned in thought. It sounded about right, but it was weird to say they were alive for anything close to an exact time. She nodded as Silva listed the places they'd been, and when she mentioned the forest, Nerah once again got a vision of the cave. She wouldn't rush anyone, but she hoped they'd be ready to find the cave soon. They didn't have to stop exploring once they found it, but t was calling to her and demanding that she make it theirs. It was getting hard to ignore, and she managed only because she promised herself she'd find the place soon.

It was beginning to bother her, actually. She shifted form paw to paw, also quite eager to be off. "yeah, about a week" Silva said in distraction "crazy to think how fast we've grown, isn't it?" she smiled fondly "I go to visit the sproutlings often. Its so odd to think that was literally us only a short while ago." she smiled dreamily "You know, I really like sproutlings. Explaining stuff to them is fun, and they're so innocent and nice~ I'm glad to have met them." silva smiled, her attention going back to the pack "Of course, I'm even happier spending time with you guys~ c'mon, shall we head on, or rest a bit?"
