Silva blinked forcing the fur to lie flat on her fur. "If she can pass then" she growled, limping back to sit by Nerah, a safe distance from the child, of course, as Silva assumed Nerah probably didn't want to be interrupted. She sat down, lifting her injured paw off the ground to slowly begin licking the blood away, keeping her golden gaze locked on Elena, who was now the immediate threat, as Nerah stated that Arya can pass. Between licks, she added "Nerah, we've been best friends since hatching. If you want Arya to pass, that's your right and I'll respect that. But I must say I agree with you. With what Apani did to that other canine....." she looked over at Hershey again, gaze softening slightly "I know you were worried that he's a bit weak for his age, but with a jaw like that, he'll be the best of his pack, if he ever starts one of his own~" her gaze immediately sharpened again as she glared around at the wolves around her, making sure no one but the two mothers could approach.

Any hint of aggression in her packmate seemed to fade, though it was clearly forced. Nerah understood. It was a bad situation that had to be made the best of. If she understood right from what she had been told, there had been a...disagreement while she was gone. A big one, if it ended with Silva's resigning from the cult. She would follow her packmate out of the cult. It didn't feel right, anyway. She wished things had turned out better, though. She didn't like the thought of walking away from all these creatures without even befriending them. She supposed some creatures simply couldn't be friends. She would have liked to have at least kept Arya, but she could read what was going on between the canine and her new feline friend.

"Thank you..." She cast her friend a grateful glance. It's for the best, I suppose... Could she really be happy around Arya, knowing she preferred someone else? It was time for them both to move on, just as soon as they resolved what they were to do with their son.

A sudden despair and despondence came over Elena; if Silva saw her as a foolish child, was that what the other members thought of her as well? Also, now that Arya's admittedly adorable son was here, would Arya have any use for her? For the first time in her life, Elena felt truly sorry for herself. She felt all wrong. What was the point of any of this? What did it all mean? Was any of this real? Was, was....

Perhaps is was a panic attack, or perhaps it was just sadness, but for whatever reason Elena felt like if she spent one more minute on the cult land, she would go crazy. She spun around and dashed off.

Eyes that were once strong were now pools of tears - he was so confused! Bleating out the only word that made him feel safe, Hershey looked up at his mothers. "Momma?" He looked back and forth; his mother seemed to be on the side of the black one, but his other mom did not seem to like the black one. Which mother was right? Sobs that wracked his frail body were only a scratch on the surface - his confusion was all caused by the black one! He hated the black one! Lurching towards her, Hershey opened his jaws, biting her other front foot, the one he had not already damaged. That would show her not to confuse him! Toddling back over to his mothers, tears still trickling down his cheeks, Hershey curled up in a ball again, so sad, so confused!

(Uhm, why would he be sleeping at her feet at one time, then irrationally mad at her the next? It seems Hershey is now unreasonably against silva, can he really make that decision over....well...over nothing?)

Silva blinked at the pup ran over to her, biting her other paw. He had made a lucky bite the other time, getting the point of skin between her toughened paw pad and fur, but at the end of the day, he was only a aboriginal pup. The bite glanced off her fur, she barely felt it. Silva blinked as he ran back to Nerah and curled up here feet, not really sure what had just happened. Sniffing her paw, first the injured, then uninjured one. Sher raised an eyebrow at Apani, wondering if the obvious hatred the female was projecting towards her had anything do do with it. Typical of her, to turn even a pup against her. Giving her a glare, Silva stood "Nerah, we should go soon. you should probably figure out what to do with the little one" Careful not to upset Nerah by getting too close to her pup, Silva walked over to her best friend, leaning against her supportingly. "I guess I have my opinions on who the pup goes too, but I'll support you, no matter the decisions" she promised.

She hadn't been here for the full scenario. If she had, she might have understood why her son suddenly lashed out at her packmate. She might not have agreed with the action - in fact, she was certain she wouldn't - but she would understand his thought processes. She arrived in the middle of everything, so the attack only confused her. She cast an apologetic look at Silva before nuzzling the pup. "Hershey, sweetie, you mustn't bite others like that. You'll hurt them."

Silva suggested they go soon. She had to agree, but there was this matter to settle. She returned her friend's affection with a nuzzle, but had to wait for Arya's answer before she could say more on the subject of Hershey's fate.

Tears puddle in her eyes, and began to trickle down her cheeks quickly, as her baby cried. He was so conflicted, so confused; Arya could see it in his onyx eyes, not unlike her own, as he looked up. When he bit Silva (again), the female flinched; she didn’t want her son to be a barbarian! Arya took a step towards the curled ball that was Hershey, nuzzling him softly, feeling as if this was their final meeting. “What do you want me to say!?” she snapped tearfully at Nerah. “It’s not like I can promise anything! Neither can you!” she screamed. “I love him more than you or your stupid friend know!”

Silva's teeth slowly curled over her lip "I see how much you love him, making a whole cult against his gender" she said, coldly, furious to see the other so obviously faking her distress. It really made her mad "You saw what happened to Kayalee. I dread to think what would have happened to him if you hadn't recognized him as your own. Or will you raise him as a hypocrite, to mate other males while living with your Cult. Or perhaps he'll be raised thinking himself inferior to every female he see's." silva's voice softened, she took a step closer "You created this female dominant society. I think you should choose what matters to you more. A Cult, or your son." her voice grew almost sarcastic again as she added "but then again, you seem very close with the other pup. Perhaps more children will come. But if they are male, you'll be in the same dilemma. Eventually, you're going to have to make a choice. So, what will it be? Cult? Or family?" her voice was cold. Not warm, but not overly mean either.

"Please, stop!" It wasn't quite a wail, but it was clear Nerah was getting desparate. There was no way this situation was going to be pleasant, but it felt as though a fight could break out at any moment. "Please, can we get along for Hershey's sake? Look..." She turned to Arya. "I'm not questioning your love for him, and I need not ask about your love for me. What I want right now is to do what's best for our pup, and I'd hope you felt the same way. If anything happens, would you defend him with your life? Could you promise that much?" She could promise the same, but Silva did have a point. Hershey was more likely to be accepted in the pack than in the cult, just because he was male.

I would die a thousand times over for him,” Arya said, a throaty growl escaping her throat as she stepped forward again, now standing with an authority she had learned after becoming co-leader of the Cult; she would not be bullied into stepping down from protecting her son. Onyx eyes were sharp through the tears, as she stared towards the two opposing canines. She tilted her head up further, staring down at them. “If you think you can take better care of him, take him. See if I care.” She said this simply to be defiant, dark tear stains becoming even darker as the salt-laced pearls began to roll again down her face. Hershey, her Hershey…she may never see him again, and the thought of that crushed Arya. Still, she only wanted the best for him…
