APPEARANCE, He has a massive, intimidating build. His short coat is jet black with slightly lighter mottling. His short fur clearly shows the rippling muscles underneath. He has beady crimson eyes with darker flecks. His front left paw is twisted in a gruesome way, making it completely useless.

PERSONALITY, Not blessed with an unprecedented amount of brainpower, Vancleef typically has to rely on his superior size and fear tactics to get what he wants. He's blunt and simple, rarely beating around the bush. He's naturally abrasive and fierce but doesn't have the cunning to turn that aggression into a blade-sharp wit, so he tends to just stomp around and snarl when he's mad. With a tendency to lash out and a vicious demeanor (along with a fearsome visage), he may seem like a huge temper tantrum waiting to happen -- however, he has a clear, strategic way of looking at a poor situation and can typically unravel bad spots with rationality and ease. (He'd be a great military leader.) He'd rather figure things out from afar than rush headfirst into all his troubles, strangely enough.
His temper becomes sour when things get personal. As someone easily deceived, he doesn't take kindly to liars and cheats. If you win his trust (which is admittedly not particularly difficult), he'll be loyal to a fault. Unless, of course, you are a liar or a cheat.
