We've had our contest and all, but that's no reason for us to stop creating myths and the like, right? Would it be possible to get a collection of gods and stories and heroes and whatever else written, gathered, and organized in a way that makes everything easy to access? I'm willing to do most of the work on it, if so, but it could make things easier to play characters that are more spiritually inclined.

That would make sense. Maybe we can use Rayel's first place entry as a base for all the future legends, and maybe the 2nd and 3rd prize entries too, assuming that they don't conflict with anything said in Rayel's legend. I support ^^

That would be brilliant! :D (Rayel's legend stands up really well as a basis for any myths that might follow on from that, since it has a great deal of flexibility.) I'm sure Embers and Aries have great plans for how Discord fits into the theocratic design of the site-- hopefully this could tie in when they eventually wish to divulge more of the plot? :D
Speaking from a purely character-based stand-point, I know Malo's going to get his teeth stuck into concocting some stories soon, so I'd love to for there to be some ancient legends to base them on, or even for him to get together with some other characters and mix up the story-telling pot... But, er, maybe that should be in the plotting board.
I'd love to help out with this if I'm needed as well! Eeeee this sounds so exciting! :D

If this gets off the ground, Flynn, you can help out in part by helping me decide how to fit our legends together. I don't know how, but we seemed to have covered the exact same things, and I'd rather not just delete everything I've written even though I know I got last place because I had to rush my entry before my trip. x.x We need to figure out what to do with any other legends and conflicts like that, as well. I'd like for everything to fit together.

Awesome :D
Yeah, they do have similarities: I'm sorry about that D: (I didn't actually realise how similar they were until I reread them a moment ago. I swear it was not intentional!). As an idea, if you don't want to leave my legend out entirely (which I wouldn't object to you doing, of course), Bayar and Sarab could just be taken out of their current context and placed into yours-- ie, they were just nameless soldiers at the time who fought the monsters. The fact that the two races didn't rejoin after the war might also have been incentive for them to go off and do their hero thing, or whatevs x3 I'm a little intrigued by the idea of one god having many 'facets', so Meara and Esperre could be the mortal creatures' name for facets of the Creator? The mortals might even distinguish between them as different gods, but for the purposes of our omniscient knowledge, we'd know that they're still all part of the Creator.

I've intended to compile the legends into a Book of Legends. I had assumed any contradictions would be acceptable, seeing that each legend could be considered the basis for a different cultural groups IC. If anyone wants to write any more legends, that'd be wonderful, they can all be included in said Book of Legends. This will most likely be a subboard in IC Reference.

I wouldn't wanna discard your stuff either, Flynn. <3 But Embers's way does make things easy on us. XD
