Silva flicked an ear in friendly amusement. "It doesn't work on command, at least not that I can tell" she explained hastily. "The den thing was completely random. I also got a few pictures of rats before I ran into that dead mob, but it didn't really make much sense" she shrugged "I guess it's supposed to provide cryptic hints, and not much else" at Kayalee's challenge, she brightened, looking up to the tree with her eyes narrowed in concentration. Half closing them, she dissapeared with a pop, appearing, dangling, from the tree limb by her front paws, hind ones waving wildly in the air. "I'm not too accurate with it yet!" she yipped, teleporting back to her original position. "But I'm working on it. Nerah's even worse than I am"

"Interesting, I guess I'll have to train this ability." Kayalee meowed, I sure do hope I get some visions at some point. Kayalee thought her whiskers twitching slightly in the cool Autumn breeze. Kayalee watched interested as Silva concentrated on the tree, then leaped back with a hiss of shock as the canine disappeared then almost instantly was dangling from a branch in a nearby tree. Kayalee purred in amusement as Silva reappeared in front of it. "I guess we both have to work on our skills." She meowed, her eyes still sparkling with her amusement towards what had just happened. "I wonder if I will ever get any messages...." She meowed half to herself.

Silva flicked an ear. "Messages? You mean visions?" she asked, confused. Before she could speak any more, her belly rumbled and she chuckled in embarrassment. "I guess you're not the only hungry one" she joked, getting to her paws. "How about we go for a hunt? It'll give you a chance to practice in your new body, and me a chance to practice my teleportation skills" she paused, realizing one rather important fact she missed. "Only, er, I'm not entirely sure what prey lives in this area- could you lead the way?" She gave a sheepish grin. "I'll do the chasing -down bit"

Kayalee nodded with a twitch of her whiskers. "There are rodents which live underground, they are pretty lazy and easy to catch most of the time." Kayalee meowed, opening her jaws to smell for prey. Her pupils dilated and a vision came over her of three trees which made a perfect triangle. She shook her head, dazed. "What the heck....?" She meowed. "I think I just had a vision." She turned her head in circles, she had to find this place she had seen. "Oh yeah, hunting." She meowed, then sniffed the air again. "North." She meowed, peering through the tall grasses at a large flat rock which a rodent was laying lazily on in the sun.

Silva blinked, nose twitching as she saw the feline freeze, then relax, in the familiar way which meant a vision. Of course, Silva had only seen Nerah and herself have visions like these, so there was no way to be sure, but... Well, then she spoke. "A vision? Cool!' Silva's plumed tail began wagging. "What was it? What did you see?" she nodded at Kayalee's direction, trotting north.
The rodent caught her eye and she froze, lowering into a crouch. Just before she pounced, a thought crossed the Canine's mind and she straightened, smiling. Let's just see how much practice I can get in. With another loud pop, the canine disappeared, reappearing on top of where the rodent had been. "Where..." Silva began before she looked down, realizing she was sitting on top of a now-struggling rodent. "Uh...I meant to do that?"

"I saw three maple trees, they were in a perfect triangle." Kayalee meowed, trotting after Silva while staring around, searching for the area she had seen. Where could it be?! She wailed inwardly. A loud pop as Silva disappeared startled Kayalee back into reality. Her whiskers twitched in amusement as the canine looked around confused while sitting on the poor rodent. "I'm sure you meant it." Kayalee meowed with a little bit of a sarcastic note. "You're getting better with teleporting though." She added kindly.
Kayalee's ear twitched then she turned her head sharply, she saw the flicker of a rodent's tail disappearing into the tall grass. She darted after it, keeping her eyes pinned on the moving grass. She curled up her legs, then pounced, she landed square on the rodent's shoulders and killed it swiftly with a bite to the neck.

A quick turn and a bite killed the rodent Silva was sitting on. Her nose twitched in amusement. "I'll work on it- and thanks!" she half-mumbled through a mouthful of rodent. Placing it down by her paws, she looked up just in time to see Kayalee make her kill. "Good catch!" the canine called encouragingly, picking up her rodent once more and trotting over "So, shall we eat?". She settled down comfortably, nibbling at her rodent as she looked curiously at the feline "Three maple trees? I thought no trees grew in the Plains" the canine said in confusion. "And Maple trees are native to Maple forest- maybe you saw something there?" A thought occurred to her and the canine stiffened. "You didn't see any dead animals there, did you?"

"Thanks." Kayalee meowed. She picked up the rodent and padded over to Silva. "There may be trees here in the plains, maybe in an area that is close to the Maple Forest." Kayalee meowed while sitting down. "No, there were no dead animals that I saw." She meowed, then bent down and nibble at the mouse, letting the succulent smell and taste wash over her. She lifted her head as an interesting thought came to her. "Maybe I was seeing where The Blue Plains Tribe territory should be. It makes sense, there was only tall grass around the three trees...." Hmm.... She wondered out loud, twitching in irritation that she didn't know what it meant.

Silva relaxed, tail flicking as she considered this new bit of information. "If there are Maples, it's definitely near the border" she said, thinking. "I'm glad to hear there's no dead animals" she paused to bend her head down, taking another bite of her rodent, which was surprisingly good tasting. "I just can't think of an area like that off the top of my head, though I've explored the border often- can you explain it a bit more?" her tail began wagging of its own accord. Silva loved puzzles, and this one was a challenge. "What if.." she began, still thinking "Well, it can't be near the bird-nesting territory, we patrol that area to frequently to not notice such a tree formation- maybe it is on the Plains territory after all" eyes narrowed in concentration.

"I need to find it!" Kayalee meowed, she gulped the mouse down as quick as she could, then looked up at Silva. "Want to help?" She asked, then rose to her paws. "Well.... The area I saw were three trees in a perfect triangular shape...." She meowed, then tried to focus on her memory. "I also saw a stream...." She gasped. "THE STREAM!" She yowled so loudly it surprised her. "It was the stream I looked at my reflection in earlier." Her heart started thumping loudly in excitement as she fled towards the stream.
When she got to the edge of the stream she looked at the stream.... "Hmmm.... Its flowing from east to west.... So that means...." She turned and looked south, then looked north. "I can't see it!" She wailed. "I don't know which way to go first!"

Silva gulped down the rest of her rodent as well, swallowing as she got to her paws. "Calm down" she called, trotting after the silver occult. "No one's going to claim the territory if you don't get there soon enough" Despite the wording, the phrase was said in a friendly tone, a piece of advice to another. "Let's follow the stream west, towards my territory, and hopefully we can find something from there. Just look out for the scent of Maple before we cross the border" Silva followed her own advice by lifting her nose to the air, scenting. She began trotting off in the direction of the stream. "No worries, we'll definitely find it!" she called encouragingly.

"I don't want to take any chances...." Kayalee meowed uncertainly. Staring south, then turning and staring north. Kayalee cocked her head when Silva offered to start heading towards the Maple Forest. "OK. Lets just hope I can find it before someone else does." She meowed, hopping from paw to paw in anxiety. She then began to follow Silva closely, looking north and south as the went along on their journey.
Suddenly the sweet scent of sap drifted towards her nostrils and she could see a line of maples growing forlornly in the distance. "Where is it?" She fretted, her whiskers twitching irritably.

Silva flicked an ear "And who would be the one taking the territory?" she replied logically. "The only adults in the world are the Starpack leaders and yourself. We certainly wouldn't take any territory outside of the Forest, and most of the young'uns are still much to young to even think about that sort of thing" she pause, scenting the air. Sure enough, the scent of Maple soon hit her nose as well. "You smell that too? Then we're definitely close" breaking into a trot, the canine continued west, pausing as she saw a few young trees. "Well lookit that! We're definitely close by!" the canine yipped, increasing her pace.
As they approached the area, she slowed, then gave a nod to Kayalee. "I'm sure you'll find the way there on your own. I'll let you settle your territory then. Good luck!" With a bound, the canine teleported off and was gone
