Kayalee's whiskers twitched as a gentle breeze whistled softly through the air and directly into her face, making a mess of her fur. She hissed inwardly and sat herself delicately on the ground and daintily rubbed her paws over her ears. When she finished grooming she pulled herself to her paws and opened her jaws to smell out prey, she hoped for a lot of prey to serve The Plains Tribe well when it was fully established. Her eyes opened wide, she smelled nothing. Nothing! She didn't understand it at all. She knew about this strange virus, but didn't know it was this bad. She trotted towards a young tree and rested her paws against it and looked up, her sharp blue eyes peering up towards a lone bird. It was a bright orange with beady little eyes which stared at her. It let out a defiant caw and flew off. Kayalee slumped her paws off the tree and shook her head sadly. What would she do for food for her tribe with this virus?

She still couldn't seem to get the scent of dead rodents out of her nostrils.
Burying the sick rodents with Nerah and the pup had been a long and smelly task. Afterward, Silva had thoroughly cleaned herself in the stream, and her fur was still dripping wet from the bath, but the smell just didn't seem to leave her. Or maybe it was just her imagination. Silva shuddered. The black furred canine was sure she'd never forget the site of all those dead bodies, but hopefully, she could distract herself from it.
A new, (thankfully living) scent filled her nose and the canine perked up. Feline, female....Kayalee, Silva was sure of it. She hadn't known the feline well, but Nerah had been friends with her, and a friend of Nerah's....
Lifting her head, the canine gave a loud bark of greeting, trotting in the direction of the scent until a silver coat could be seen on the plains. "Hey Kayalee!" Silva called, raising her voice so be heard over the light wind that had sprung up. "Remember me?"

Kayalee spun around, her silvery fur prickling along her spine.
The scent of a rancid odor hit her first, then the smell of canine. Her nose was still twisted at the rancid scent of dead rodent as she called back, "Hello, Silva." She assumed that was enough of a greeting to say, 'yes, i remember you.' She then began coughing the scent of the rodent being to much for her. "Sorry." She meowed between coughs, her blue eyes began watering at the force of her coughs.
After about a minute of forceful coughing she regained herself and padded slowly towards the canine, hesitance easy to see in her stride.

The coughing made Silva pause in her tracks, then back away apologetically, into a patch of smelly grasses she hoped would cover up the scent. "Sorry, sorry!" she apologized, rolling around in the grass in a desperate attempt to get the smell off. "A few friends and I found a few sick rodents a little ways away from here. I'm pretty sure the sickness isn't on us, but the death smell is hard to get rid off" Satisfied that the sticky sweet grass-smell had completely disguised the death rodent smell, Silva stood, approaching the silver furred feline with a grin. "Better? How's the Tribe been lately?" Her fur was sticky from all the sweet-grass scent, but at least the smell was decent.

Kayalee's pace quickened slightly as Silva retreated into a thicket of sweet grass.
Kayalee sat in front of the canine's paws and looked up at her face. "That sounds problematic...." She meowed, half to herself. What if I can't strengthen the tribe because of this? She thought, her blue eyes widening with fear. Silva's voice echoed in her head, Kayalee then realized she had been asked a question. "Oh, um..... I haven't gotten any members in the tribe yet." She meowed, her ears dropped slightly in sadness.
A squeak from the bushes made Kayalee's head whip to the side, giving her painful whiplash. She had meant to chase the rodent, but instead she fell comically to the ground, placing her paws on the side of her neck while hissing in pain and annoyance.

Silva blinked, ears lowering as she realized that her words had some sort of negative affect on the feline. Of course, you idiot. Kayalee's tribe is centered around the Plains, this would affect her most of all! Silva mentally cursed herself for her stupidity, saying out loud. "Oh! I mean, it's not that bad of a problem- it was only the rodents we saw with the sickness, and it was just one colony. We put a bunch of markers around it, so others will know to stay away and ti's not that harmfull" she spoke quickly, trying to repair the damage her innocent comment had done.
Silva blinked at the dejected note in Kayalee's voice as she admitted that she hadn't gained any new members. "Well..." she bagan, mentally searching for a solution. "I already am a part of Starpack, of course, but is it possible to be a member of two groups at once? I could be a sort of honorary member if you like? Of course I wouldn't live with you guys but...it could work?" she wagged her tail hopefully, hoping to cheer the feline up.
As the feline fell to the ground, Silva jumped up in alarm. "Hey, you alright?" she yipped worridly, nose twitching slightly at the scent of live (and thankfully healthy) rodent.

"I'm alright." Kayalee meowed, straitening herself up. "Maybe...." Kayalee meowed, her tail twitched. I guess having an honorary member could work.... I just don't have any idea how to work Silva into all the things we'll do.... Or what her rank will be in the group or anything.... If she doesn't live with us she may not follow our code of peace.... These many thoughts stormed Kayalee's brain in an instant. "But I just don't know...." She sighed, her shoulders slumped and she stared down dejectedly. "Thank you for the offer though." She meowed, looking back up once again. She's so kind, I don't think she'd break the code, but I just can't really be sure.....

Silva nodded, sitting back on her haunches. "Alright then- I was worried for a moment" she admitted. She watched as the feline seemed to contemplate her offer, tail flicking as she thought. "Well, you don't have to decide now" the canine finally said. "Just know that the offer stands if you ever choose to accept it- it's not like you won't be able to find the pack den if you need to fine me- we're pretty easy to find" her jaw opened in a grin. A thought occurred to her as she turned her head to the side, asking "You have a special code or somewhat, if I recall? What's it about, may I ask?" Silva knew a little about the Plains Tribe through the general talk and gossip that arose whenever a new group was founded, but she wasn't quite sure what it was beyond 'peace loving'.

Kayalee straightened up importantly, as she always did when she spoke of her tribe. "We are a group centered on peace and family. Our code is not a written code, it is a code really in the nature of thought, We must accept all no matter their differences and those who are not our enemies are our friends." As she meowed this her blue eyes brightened, then they darkened slightly and she meowed darkly. "This, however does not mean we are weak, being a family helps us all grow in strength together through our love for each other we will train and grow to have so much strength that we will be able to spread peace through the entire world!" She stood up while she meowed this, her eyes bright with intensity.

Silva blinked, turning her head to the side as she heard the feline speak of her tribe with such pride. She recognized it as the same pride she got herself when speaking of Starpack - that wonderful little group she had founded with her three best friends. "Well, there's one thing we have in common" she said encouragingly. "Accepting all no matter the differences~. Not that we've had many people wanting to join, but the concept is the same" she paused, listening to the next bit. "I'm not so sure about the world peace thing- we don't have a goal beyond living together and helping out new young'uns into the world, but it's a noble cause. I can see why you speak of your tribe with such pride"

Kayalee nodded quietly, then a bright light surrounded the silvery feline, she felt herself lifted from the ground and the light seemed to sink into her very soul. She felt a change come over her, she grew larger, stronger. Her silvery fur rippled along her spine into a thicker coat as it spread across her body which was now twice the size it was only a minute ago. The light flashed, then vanished. She found it was now easier to look into the dark coated canines eyes, but Silva was still larger than she was. "I'm not sure what that was....." Kayalee meowed in a deeper tone, she then padded over to a small bubbling stream and looked at her reflection, her fur was still a beautiful silver, but she was huge and she felt a weird sense that she could see more than she previously could. CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR ABORIGINAL FELINE EVOLVED INTO..... OCCULT FELINE!

((Uh, quick question- what's with the glowing? When Silva/Nerah/Antares evolved, it was just mainly a flash of pain, but no light. Is that just a personal Kayalee evolution thing?))
Silva was about to continue when she noticed the change coming over Kayalee, making her grow until she was the size of Antares. "Hey, you evolved!" she yipped, tail wagging. "You're just like Nerah and Antares and I, except Nerah and I evolved twice and you only did it once- I thought it only happened to members of Starpack! Congrats!" she all but bounded around the newly evolved feline, tail wagging happily, as frisky as a newlyhatched pup. In her excitement, she began babbling random bits and pieces of information form her own evolution. "You're going to hate water in this evolution, Nerah and I did. Oh, and you're going to be really hungry since evolving does that to you! And you're a lot bigger, but I guess you already knew that and- oh this is so exciting!"

((I was making it like Pokemon evolution, so yeah it's a personal thing.))
Hate water? Kayalee thought, she placed a paw in the small stream she was staring at then quickly pulled it back out again. Wow.... That didn't feel good at all.... Interesting. She watched Silva bounce around her as she meowed. "I guess it is just a natural thing....." Her stomach growled loudly, making Kayalee make a face. "I am hungry...." She meowed, then opened her mouth to scent the air. The scent of rodent washed over her, it smelled fine. She very much hoped it wasn't the scent of an infected one. She padded towards the scent in a hunter's crouch, then leaped on the animal pinning it to the ground. She wrapped her jaws around its neck and bit down cleanly with her large fangs. She sniffed the creature pushing her nose in its fur. smelling for any sign of the virus.

Silva, now quite calmed down, sat down, tail still wagging hard to show her excitement. "Sorry if I get a bit overexcited" she said sheepishly. "I like explaining things, I guess- Oh! You also get powers with each evolution, or at least we did. Sometimes you get images of the future. That's how Nerah and I found Starpack den- we both saw the same image of what the clearing would look like and exactly where it'd be" she paused, realizing she was over explaining things again. Shrugging as she decided it didn't matter, the Absonding continued. "And after this evolution, I can teleport" Grinning "It's fun~"

"The.... Future?" Kayalee breathed. She closed her eyes and searched through her mind to try and observe the future of her tribe, but she couldn't see anything. I guess the tribe's future isn't set in stone yet.... She thought. I just wish I could know if I will just get any members..... Kayalee's eyes blinked open and she looked down dejectedly. "Oh well...." She breathed quietly half to herself. "Teleporting?" She asked, looking back up at the canine. "That sounds interesting." She meowed. "Can you teleport from here to that tree?" She asked, pointing with her tail to a small tree about fifteen feet away.
