GENERAL RULES
1. Be respectful of everyone. You need only use common sense to abide by this regulation.
2. Read all available information onsite. It is not a marketing strategy when we advertise ourselves as unique. The way we function departs from the norm of most Proboards sites, and you may not embrace that. Know these things before you get a foothold in the community.
Everyone should at the bare minimum scan the New Player's Guide.
3. There are board specific rules--check for stickied topics and read board descriptions that may issue important information.
4. Posting minimum is one hundred words. We also expect proper grammar, spelling, and usage. If your browser doesn't correct your spelling mistakes, proofread your posts.
5. Power playing and god modeling are unacceptable.
6. Misbehavior is dealt with on a case by case basis.
7. Activity checks are only held sparingly for record keeping purposes.
8. Limited use of liquid time is allowed. One character can engage in three threads at once, but please keep in mind that you cannot layer jump. If you are not familiar with the term "layer jumping," you should refer to the New Players' Guide. Prompt threads do not count toward your three thread maximum, but a character may only engage in one prompt thread at a time.
9. Understand that because of the limitations of using a forum host, we cannot keep everyone honest. We keep diligent records, but, theoretically, a user could easily cheat the system. If you want to pretend that your character has an ability or an item that you have not actually obtained, know that you are the one who is taking the fun out of things for yourself. The obstacles that the site employs are here for fun, challenging game play. It gives users goals to work towards, and motivation intended to keep everyone posting. Breaking the rules will earn you a consequence, but if you wanted to break them in the first place, this site probably isn't the best choice for you.
