NAME: Tyne (Pronounced like twine, without the w)
PERSONALITY:
With first glance, it can be understood why someone might think that Tyne fell from the pod too early, with xer smaller frame, thin appearance, elongated fangs, and lack of gender, but every being the orchard gives lift to is only held until maturity, until they reach perfection. No one willingly fell, or could control when their time came for emergence, but the trees know, so if indeed xe fell from xer pod early, it is only because xe reached perfection sooner than others of xer species. Tyne may be different, quite different than others, but xe is confident in xerself, and quite happy with everything xe has been given.
While Tyne is happy, xe is also incredibly scatterbrained when not focusing on focusing. Xe has to make a conscious effort to pay attention to something or anything that moves can grab xer attention, and often does. Xe is often lost from a group because a squirrel skittered by and xe just had to chase it, or a butterfly just so happened to flutter by xer nose and lead xer off into a happy world of flowers and honey, but after the search party finds xer with either a dead forest critter or sitting in a bed of flowers, xe is always ready to share in the spoils or offer a grin made goofy with xer impossible fangs. It is really hard not to fall in love with Tyne, even for all of the trouble xe causes.
When around others, Tyne is a bit overly friendly with everyone, but will choose one person to cling to. Xe is able to stand alone and be strong and confident, but prefers the company of others and this one person above all. This chosen person could be anything to xer, an adopted sibling or parent, a best friend, or a romantic partner, and it may take a while to find this chosen person, so xe may drift from person to person before the person is chosen, but once chosen, Tyne will develop a need for them and their nearness, and develop anxiety without them. Tyne is also easily confused by sarcasm, and often tries and fails to be sarcastic xerself.
Tyne likes to make people around xer happy, and will try to do small things to please them if they are upset. Xe is very accepting of everyone unless they did something to give xer a reason to not be. It may be because of the differences in xerself, but xe is often blind to the differences in others, not so much as not to see them in others, but more or less to ignore them, and, if necessary, to help the person look past them themselves.
For all of Tyne's kindness though, if xe has a reason to hate, xe can hate. Tyne is most likely to ignore someone to the utmost of xer ability if xe harbors ill feelings towards them, but this is very rare, and the person would have had to do something extreme for this to happen. Tyne is open-minded and free-spirited, kind and accepting, and a bit of a mess, but xe tries hard to be whatever xe is needed to be, by whoever needs xer to be it. Xe is trying to navigate the false world and find xer place in the grandness of it all, and welcomes everyone along the way.
