JUST SAY WHAT YOU WANNA SAY AND LET THE WORDS FALL OUT HONESTLY i wanna see you be brave SHOW ME HOW BIG YOUR BRAVE IS!! Jamie had taken to the taiga like a fish to water. He loved the way the trees towered overhead, their dark green fingers reaching into the sky and sheltering the tawny, amber, and gold underbrush beneath them. The best part, he thought, was the smell pine needles left in the air. It was thick and spicy, and lay like a heady fog in the air, but he enjoyed it anyway. It had taken some getting used to (and several headaches), but he had eventually adjusted to the ever-present scent. In the same way he had adjusted to the rather cold temperatures of the area. His mottled coat protected him well, though, and it was actually rather pleasant.
He often climbed the trees, too. They were good for climbing, if you were small like he was. Even though climbing was considered a feline thing, the young canine enjoyed the exhilaration it gave him, the star burst of adrenaline that made his heart beat just a little quicker. On one particular morning, he decided to climb once again, using the strong muscles of his shoulders to propel him upwards, grappling with the branches above him as his hind legs scrabbled at the branches below. When he reached the top, the male smiled.
Then, he howled.

Kayalee collapsed in tiredness underneath a tall, pine tree. She panted and lapped up a large amount of water from a mucky puddle which had pooled quite close to the tree's roots. Kayalee's ear twitched for a few moments, she could have sworn she heard someone, something maybe. Carren gave a call from the top of the tree. "I guess I wasn't dreaming" Kayalee meowed to herself and pulled herself lazily out from under the tree. She stretched, pulled herself to an upright position and started in surprise when she heard a caterwaul from not to far off. "Come, Carren." Kayalee commanded her raven. Carren obediently obliged and lighted on his mistress's shoulder. Kayalee wove through the trees as quick as she could without getting herself pricked by the surprisingly sharp needles on the trees. I wonder how these--how in the name of all things did that canine climb that tree?! Kayalee thought in complete bewilderment. Kayalee quickened her pace and came to the base of the tree and stared upwards to the strange little aboriginal. "How on this great earth did you manage that feat, young one?" Kayalee asked, frankly, rather impressed with the canine. "Oh, how rude of me, I'm Kayalee, pleased to make your acquaintance. Kayalee purred. - -Tomorrow's a Mystery - - [/blockquote]

JUST SAY WHAT YOU WANNA SAY AND LET THE WORDS FALL OUT HONESTLY i wanna see you be brave SHOW ME HOW BIG YOUR BRAVE IS!! The male noticed, quite quickly, that he was no longer alone in the forest. The hoarse croak of a raven – not often heard in these parts – alerted him to the fact that something was different. He breathed in, but it did little good considering whatever he was looking for was probably on the ground. He stood up cautiously from his previously sprawled out position, shifting his weight so it was closer to the trunk of the tree. What a tragedy it would be if he fell the moment he had an audience! He stepped delicately until the tip of his nose was pressed against the trunk, ears tipped forward to catch the words that were being called up to him. Squinting through the patchwork of branches, he made out a blue-gray figure, a splash of black against its shoulder. “I climbed!” He finally called, his ears managing to make sense of the garbled sounds that flew upwards. “M’name’s James, but you can call me Jamie!” He shouted down to the figure below. He coiled the muscles in his shoulders and surveyed the quilt of branches below him, calculating the power it would take to get to a sturdy branch about ten feet away from him. Leaping downward, and feeling for just a moment like he was flying, Jamie was able to get a bit of a better view of the figure below. It was feline, and judging by its size, probably female. “D’you want me to come down so we can talk better?” He asked, attempting to be cordial, which was rather hard considering he had to scream to be heard above the winds that were cutting the air between them. Kayalee chuckled quietly on the show the little canine put on. Though she was quite nervous that he would loose his footing since canines were not meant to climb trees as felines were. "I can see that you climbed, quite an impressive feat for a canine, that is." Kayalee meowed, padding closer to the tree, staring up at the canine with her bright aqua eyes. "It is very nice to meet you, Jamie." Kayalee meowed, as the canine crouched in attempt to get further down, Kayalee thought, her heart leaped into her throat as the canine went airborne. She sighed in relief when he safely landed on another branch. "I hope you know how dangerous that is, and that you don't cause yourself any harm coming down from there." Kayalee meowed, her eyes riveted on the canine. Carren crowed and hopped forward on Kayalee's shoulder then leaped into the air and flew up towards Jamie. - -Tomorrow's a Mystery - - [/blockquote]
