We could have a pet shop, kind of like the ac, where random animals pop up every once in a while, it would be a rare thing though.

Oh and I forgot, you could only have a companion from a layer your character has explored. Which means, yes, people with hidden tier access can get special companions.

I don't like the random animals in the shop idea much, though. There isn't any animal that's particularly hard to find in the IC, so that wouldn't make sense to me.

All my characters would love to have their own companions. ^.^ Nerah and Seraphi more than River, but meh. Would there be a limit? Like, one per character?

Everything needs to be stated. XD One site I was on had a person trying to buy three bear companions for their wolf character. x.x

So one companion smaller than, say, a fox, per character. Works for me.

I was thinking, as a perk for evolved characters, they could also have larger companions. Still no bigger than themselves, obviously.

Makes sense to me, but what about evolved characters that had a rodent in their aboriginal days and decide they want something like a badger as an absconding?

Perhaps you could 'release' a companion after some time, but you wouldn't get a refund?

Could we have a permanent thread slot addition? It would be rather expensive (like 100-200 EXP), but would make it so if people only have one character and they want said character to be bale to be in more than 3 threads at a time without purchasing a crudload of extra thread slots, they can do it.

I agree with Aleh on the permanent thread slot.

I also had another idea, something you can buy to make your character be able to be in a restricted area for a single thread. Evolved characters wouldn't be able to use their abilities for the duration of exploring the area though. I wouldn't price it over 40 exp.

I want both of those. x.x I've had times where I felt bad because there was an orchard thread sitting empty and I couldn't do anything to help that person get into layer 2. I think we've had people quit for that...

And the lifting of the restriction is also handy. Then my characters really can explore all the boards. ^.^

I like Aries' idea about the restricted areas. My personal goal is to get all my characters to visit every board, so that would be helpful. That also brings up a question for me - if you were to evolve a character up to Absconding and then devolve it so it had the appearance of an Aboriginal, would you be restricted to the boards restricted for an Aboriginal, or an Absconding. -roundaboutquestionftw-

I would guess the restrictions would change based on the new species, but I'm not sure.
