GENDER, female SPECIES, aboriginal reptile
APPEARANCE, Her hide seems matte and lackluster as compared to other reptiles. She is of average proportions, her height, weight, and length in line with species standards. Despite being otherwise plain, her most astonishing feature is her beautiful feathering. This reptile's feathered fringe is long and decadent, the feathers at her elbows grazing the ground, and those at her tail casting a long banner behind her.

NAME, Garnet
PERSONALITY, Garnet is self-conscious, noticing that she looks a bit different than most of the reptiles. She thinks she's unattractive, since she is not as brilliantly colored or as shiny as some of her fellow reptiles. Even though her feathering should make up for this, she just views their length as another thing that sets her apart. She longs to fit in and belong, and as a youngster is quite clingy. She craves a mother and/or father figure, as she doesn't trust her own judgement. She feels as though others are much more capable of showing her the way. When alone, she is sad and frightened. She doesn't believe she can take care of herself, but sometimes feels as though she should be on her own rather than force others to look at her plain, dull hide. Though friendly around others she is unsure of herself and may choose either not to speak, or beat herself up over what she has said.
