It was early in the morning, very early as a matter of fact. The sun was only just starting to rise, the great ball of light only starting to peek up on the horizon. Of course the creature inside the nearly ready to hatch fruit-egg was not able to see the beginnings of this sunrise. After all, the creature was yet to hatch. But it was not be that way for long. No, the egg itself was not completely ready to give way. No, the creature inside was not as large or strong as he could have been. But man, he was restless! The creature inside the egg had become aware a little earlier than expected and thus wanted out earlier than expected. Like a early birth in creatures that would give live birth this one would be a early hatching.
The egg on the annab tree let out a slight tapping sound. Of course of was not the egg itself making this sound but the creature inside the egg. For one brief moment the tapping stopped and the egg fell silent. Suddenly there was a loud crack and the side of the egg ripped open to reveal a white paw. Another paw soon joined this one, enlarging the hole as much as possible. Once the job was done a head poked out, taking in the surroundings.
What the newborn Jiro say was rrather alarming to him. He had hatched early, early as in before his egg hit the ground. A sinking feeling entered the feline's stomach as he stared down at the ground, the ground so far below him. Although he would deny it if even asked in the future in that moment he was scared, very scared. So with a small mewl of fear he pulled his head back in and attempted to curl back up in his egg.
