Kayalee watched intently as the young cat struck and gouged her claws into the gills of the fish and pulled it up onto the shore. "It wasn't bad for a second try, you'll get better." Kayalee meowed, turning her head to pick up her fish. "But for now, I think its high time we head back. If i'm tired, you're probably more tired." She meowed, then wrapped her jaws around the fish and padded up the slight slope towards the camp. Expecting River to follow carrying her own catch.

When she reached the top of the hill she placed her catch with the rest of the prey then padded to the hole and jumped through it. She made her way through the corridor and then finally to her nest to sleep for the night. She curled herself into a ball and closed her eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.

River nodded at the praise. "Thank you." Perhaps someday, she'd even master the act. She'd like to be an expert at catching all sorts of prey. She already had good ideas on rodents and birds, and had just received a lesson in fish. Now she needed lizards, and...was there anything else? Insects, but those weren't really worth the effort unless a creature was desperate for food.

She was grateful when Kayalee said it was time to head back, and she grabbed her own fish before following the lager feline, placing it on the rock with the rest of their kills for the day and then heading into the hole. It felt like forever between starting back and making it to her nest, but she managed, and - a couple moments later - she was sound asleep.

The next morning Kayalee woke early and peered over at River who seemed to still be sound asleep. She left her nest as quietly as possible and made her way to the corridor, she climbed swiftly up the side of the hole and made her way to the pile of freshly killed prey. She picked up the fish she had caught yesterday and chewed on it, while she chewed she thoughtful went over her entire time with River yesterday, having a new friend was amazing especially one as kind and friendly as River. She pondered what it would be like to have even more members in her Tribe, it would be amazing, like an entire family of loved ones. She sighed in longing, hopefully more members would come along someday.
