Different species types

I know this would be way in the future since this RP is just getting started, but I wanted to suggest it anyway.

How about, aside from canine and feline, we include some other animal families..for example equines. You could start them as a small pony, then they could evolve into a full sized horse, then some kind of epic unicorn. xD

I just have to comment, but I have serious issues with drawing horses. :T

It would be a lot more work on my part, but in the far future I don't see an issue with drawing up a couple more linearts.

But I'm open to the idea. Maybe some weasel type animals too? We can even try aquatic ones, perhaps. Maybe rodents and rabbits, too. Can't have everyone being a carnivore, right?

Thanks. ^.^ And it is up to Aries what to draw/not draw, but suggestions never hurt. If nothing else, the desired species can be NPCs on some boards for hunting or running from or whatever.

I'm, of course, trying to do things that are in the best interest of the majority of the member, but I, personally, wouldn't be thrilled with horses. In the distant future, after some people have Absconding species and things, I think a new species would be beneficial, however. I just find it hard to imagine cats and horses role playing together; I feel like that's sort of bizarre. Somehow cats and dogs together seems more acceptable compared to when you add horses into the mix.

Cats and dogs I get, but I think other species should wait until much later in this site, and that they should be species that you have to buy. This is just because cats and dogs= predator. Horse=prey. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Weasels are predators too, but I agree. ^.^ It'll be when stuff is more or less set up and maybe after that.

Winged unicorn of epic has a name; alicorn.

Honestly, I don't think horses would be a good idea. :C I mean, cats and dogs together are one thing, considering there's not that much of a difference between them, even in size. They're both predators, and are in the same size-grouping for the most part. A horse would tower above the cats and dogs, and I just can't see them interacting.

Rodents and rabbits and stuff wouldn't work very well, either. I mean... bunnies with cats and dogs? Chances are that your character wouldn't last very long. D:

Maybe some sort of draconic thing may work. About the size of a dog, maybe wings and fiery breath in later "evolutions" of it?
