Okay guys, I'm going to try to finish up transferring the info from here to the IC thread tomorrow. Sorry for taking so long. Anyway, can anyone think of anything they want added that's not in the first few posts of either thread before I start?

Really sorry for multi-posting, but my last post was so long ago and I wasn't sure anyone would catch it if I just edited. x.x I have something to say:
So...I'm buying us a sub-board once I have the exp. It's literally the next thing on my to-buy list. I've been working hard on getting everything we've discussed/established organized and ready for when I purchase it, and I wanted to run everything by you guys before making it final.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Board Description: There is a section of the Maple Forest where the trees grow thicker than they do anywhere else in the woods. The pack claims most of this section, with its northern, eastern, and western borders placed where the trees are wider-spaced. In the middle of this patch of trees is a large clearing. The clearing is primarily composed of grasses, though the off bare patch of dirt or cluster of wildflowers can usually be found growing there. A few large, flat rocks - great for stretching out on and sunning on pleasant, warm days - also dot the clearing, with a couple jutting over a small creek that divides the clearing. The creek runs past a hill on its way through the clearing and empties into a lake nearby, which is primarily fed by a waterfall cascading down from a small cliff. The lake is considered to be the southern edge of the territory, leaving much of the thick cluster of trees beyond it open for claiming.
The hill in the clearing is hollow, its inside forming a cave that can be accessed from the southern side. No one knows if this cave was formed by nature or some long-ago creature, but StarPack decided to make it their own, smoothing out the walls and ceiling and adding new rooms and tunnels underground. Small hollows dent the floor near the walls in the rooms. These are filled with leaves, feathers, and other soft materials and serve as nests for the pack's aboriginal and occult members. For the pack's absconding members, there is a shelter built atop the hill, composed primarily of leaves and reinforced with sticks, mud, and rocks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other Stuff (maybe for a sticky thread inside the sub board?):
Where We Came From: StarPack begins with the birth of its four founders. Anteres, Nerah, Silva, and Yamir met almost as soon as they were out of their pods. They developed a strong bond with each other almost instantly and decided to be together forever. The foursome traveled together from the Orchard to the Maple Forest, where they found their den and established their territory. Though they do consider a section of the forest "theirs", they do not mind visitors and encourage friends and strangers alike to come and go as they please...as long as they behave themselves.
What We're About: Even though we're called StarPack, we accept pretty much everyone. Canines, felines, mixes, males, females, and everyone from aboriginal to absconding can find a home within StarPack. The founders of StarPack realized that life was easier, richer, more fun, and overall better when creatures lived and worked together, and their goal is to grow and help each other survive.
Pack Rules: ~*~Be awesome. We understand that fights happen and not everyone can get along, but if a feud between two or more pack members threatens the rest of the group, the offending creatures may be booted. The founders would really rather not have to do this, so please try to get along. ~*~If you see a packmate in trouble, help them out. It doesn't matter what you personally feel for them. ~*~You may only advance one rank in your specialty per OOC week. ~*~More to come...
Pack Ranks: Nebulas - The founders and leaders of the pack: Antares, Nerah, Silva, and Yamir. This rank is closed, reserved for the four who started everything. ~Antares, no stated specialty ~Nerah, no stated specialty ~Silva, no stated specialty ~Yamir, no stated specialty Meteors - Trusted members who have been members for a while. These are essentially the betas and deputies. ~None yet Comets - The bulk of the pack, once we get more members. Comets are the standard members, neither high nor low ranked. ~None yet Protostars - The new and the young. They are essentially apprentices, and are assigned mentors within the pack. Meteors and Comets can volunteer to take a protostar under their wing and train them in the ways of the pack until they've learned what they need. At this point, a protostar becomes a comet and may mentor another new member. ~None yet
Sub-Ranks/Specialties: Every rank above Protostar may have its own sub-rank. These are essentially specialties, something your creature excels at above everything else. Limitless numbers of creatures will be allowed in each sub-rank. For now, these include but aren't limited to: Hunters - the food providers Fighters - the best fighters, trained to defend the pack Healers - creatures gifted with the knowledge of healing herbs and the like, may double as priests later on Peacekeepers - mediators and diplomats Scouts/Swimmers - the fastest travelers by land or water, typically used to deliver messages or spy on enemies (should we ever gain enemies)
Sub-Ranks are further divided into 1-5 star ratings. The more stars a creature has in its rank, the more proficient it is. To advance in rank, you can post a 300+ word RP post in the sub board showing your character doing what they do best. When a nebula sees the post, they'll give the creature their star.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So...did I catch everything? Let me know if I left something out, got something wrong, or if you guys have any other/better ideas. Also, for the 300+ word star getting thing, I had a thought - do we wanna keep it at 300 words for all stars or increase the word count with each rank?
