[That's fine then, I need to take note of the people close to evolving that need their coat done on the other species though. xDD] Antares was still concerned about his whimpering friend. He wondered how she changed in the first place, was it something that came with age, or experience? Whatever happened was unknown to all of them at this point.
Nerah was so much bigger, and different looking, he didn't thing he could ever adjust to it. She was moving and not whimpering nearly as much now, it was incredibly relieving. Nerah spoke and her voice was much deeper because of her larger size, it was just so much to adjust to.
"No, I don't remember any of us falling asleep!" Antares tried to keep his voice steady, unsuccessfully.

Taking a safer approach, Yamir skirted around the riverbed and watched them swim, feigning boredom. Until Nerah began to whimper and curl in on herself. Against his will, his eyes narrowed with worry and swam in concern. This wasn't normal - did it hurt, was she in pain? He dipped across the shallower part of the river to reach the others, and a low growl festered in his throat when the new creature appeared. Was that honestly Nerah? "Is it you, are you hurt?" He babbled before he could stop himself.

Silva nosed her friend with worry. "You're....big now" she stated lamely, trying to make the situation a bit lighter. Turning her head, she smiled weakly at Antares and Yamir, who had just joined them. turning back to Nerah, Saliva lowered her hindquarters until she was in a sitting position, staring at her friend in worry. "Well, we're all pretty young, maybe it's a part of growing up. like, we're still considered sproutlings until we uh...grow...or something" ideas rushed through her head as she considered. blinking, she looked at Silva again "Well, do you feel okay?"

Everyone was worried about her. Everyone. That meant Yamir as well as Antares and Silva. She was...touched, honestly, and she felt back for scaring them all. Still...how was she to react to this? It happened almost without warning, and the pain! The memory of it was acute enough that she could almost feel it all over again.
The occult canine shuddered and shook herself, trying to clear the pain and fear from her being. It actually worked, a little. She then turned to the others. "Sorry...I...I think I'll be okay."
She stepped over to the river and looked down at her reflection. Her shape was different, though there was still a hint of her old features. Her markings were gone now, and her dusty coloration was replaced by caramel. She didn't mind her old pelt, but she found herself growing fond of this one. The brighter color suited her better than the dull, she supposed.
She nodded at Silva's words. "I...suppose it's possible...I didn't do anything different from you guys, so maybe this is supposed to happen to all of us." She scratched behind her right ear with her hind leg. "I'm kind of glad I went first. Now you guys know what to expect. Maybe it'll be a little easier." Her tail wagged faster, her normal personality returning in full. "Let's not worry about it for now. Besides, I feel stronger than I was before." She grinned. "Yeah...I feel really good! Sleepy, though." A yawn escaped her, proving that statement.

Silva chuckled, relief evident on her features. Okay, Nerah was okay. That was good. She bubbled with curiosity though. What exactly triggered the change? Oh well. whatever it was, it probably didn't matter too much. Silva looked in curiosity like Nerah. The first animal that came to mind was a bear. Yup, Nerah looked exactly like a shaggy bear with her new shape. Silva chuckled, deciding to keep the observation herself. It was cute though, all fluffy~
Silva nodded again at Nerah's words, speaking "Well, at least we know what to expect. That's gonna be a good thing. Not that I'm looking much forward to the change. It looks painful, heh" At Nerah's yawn, she blinked "We should all get some sleep. It's been a long first few days for all of us"

Antares sat down, relieved to hear the Nerah was okay. He didn't want to change, he was still getting used to his body. Getting used to a whole new one sounded unbearable.
Nerah's drastic changes were strange, but he thought she looked better in her new form. He wondered what he would change to if he does, would he get bigger? Stronger? All of it didn't matter at that moment in time though, he would find out when it happens.
"Changing doesn't seem pleasant, maybe it's different for felines? I hope so at least!" Antares joked, it couldn't be that much different.
"Some shut eye is definitely necessary" the feline hopped in between a pair of tree roots and curled up comfortably in a lose ball.

Silva nodded "Sleep is good" curling up into a ball on the ground and settling comfortable. Yawning, she responded to Antares's comment "It probably is smaller, and more streamlined, like you are compared to us now. Or I dunno. It might be completely different" yawning again, she tried to imagine herself as a bigger thing. She had always been considered petite for canines, so she might be smaller as a big thing as well. she hoped she would keep her short black fur though. It was interesting, and unique, and she liked it. Ah well though. For all Silva knew, the rest of them could never change! Maybe it was just one of those traits some people had that others different. But eh. she'd worry about it in the morning

At the assurance that Nerah would, indeed, be okay, Yamir tuned out again and let their chatting be a sort of amenable white noise. Whatever Nerah had just done was weird, but she was still her and as long as it wasn't happening to Yamir this very second, he didn't care.
Listening to them all talk about sleep made him succumb to his own agreement. There was little more in this world he wanted, and he very sure, more than rest. Sighing, he sunk down where he was after a few moments of rotation (the riverbed was comfortable enough, at least) and laid his head on his front paws. His eyelids drooped without his permission, but until he was lying down, he really didn't realise how tired he was at all.

"The change was scary..." Nerah responded. "But now you guys will know what it is if it happens. A lt of the unpleasantness was wondering what was wrong with me." She laughed nervously. "If I didn't pass out then it couldn't have lasted that long...but, anyway..." She stretched, flexing her foreleg muscles as se did so. Compared to her old form, there was a lot of power in her new limbs. Once she became more comfortable in this form, she'd have to go for a good, long run.
The pack was ready for sleep now. Nerah was as well. The day had been more than tiring for the brown canine, and she knew she wouldn't get much farther today. Also, being this close to the river was suddenly uncomfortable for her. She gave the water a final glance and moved a few steps away from the riverbank, settling in the nearby grass. She closed her eyes and the world around her seemed to vanish from existence, replaced my images of a cave surrounded by trees.

/the next morning/
Antares opened his eyes, the pre-dawn light stirring him. Getting to his feet he let out a loud yawn and stretched sending shivers through his body. He didn't remember his dreams of the night before, but he felt in his body that they were good. They should probably get some food soon, he would need some help with the hunt though. Everyone here except for Yamir liked to hunt. So he immediately padded over to Yamir first and liked him between the eyes and prodded him a bit. Hoping the canine might wake up.
"Hey, Yamir"

Her sleep had been deep, and she woke up feeling sore, but well-rested. Her eyes slowly opened and she stretched before standing, noting that the ground was a lot farther away than normal.
Then she remembered the events of the previous night.
That wasn't the only thing she remembered, either. There had been a cave in her dream, and it looked to be a perfect starter home for the pack. It was surrounded by trees, which promised prey and water nearby. Was it a real place? It had seemed very real. But...where exactly was it, and should she tell the others?
Figuring she could decide whether or not to tell them later, she sat and looked around. Antares was already up and trying to wake Yamir. She smiled and wagged her tail as she watched them. It was good to have them and Silva nearby.

Silva yawned as she woke up, blinking as she saw that the others had awoken. Rising with a stretch and a yawn, she padded over to Silva, grinning happily "hiyas~ How did all of you guys sleep?" she asked, tail wagging happily. "have you guys been awake for a while? You coulda woken me up if you wanted to, y'know" she commented, glancing around the clearing. "Boy this river place sure is amazing" she commented, standing up and stretching out her front paws.

Nerah smiled at the other female as she awoke. "Hiya! I only just woke up. Dunno about Antares, though. He was first." It was going to take time to get used to the other female being that much smaller than her, but she wouldn't let it bother her. They were all the same creatures they were when they were born. She - Nerah - had just grown a bit. That was all.
Silva commented on the river. She wanted to agree. She really did. Ever since the growth, though, the river made her uneasy. They could use a hunt, but after that she wanted to leave. "Each place gets better and better. I think out next stop will be even more amazing."

Silva blinked, then nodded "How about we go to the forest?" she suggested "You and I went there once to hunt, remember? There's probably a lot more orange birdy food there, we can go get a snack" she stood, pacing towards the river to lap up a drink of water. some part of her wanted to get up and get moving. Silva loved exploring, and she loved the Maple Forest. Ever since she first saw those tall trees that reminded her so much of her own parent tree, Silva knew that the forest was an amazing place, like a home, if you will. turning to the others, she spoke up "So, whadaya guys say? Should we head towards the forest"

Antares flicked his ears back, listening to the canines' conversation. He turned and padded over to the to join them after giving Yamir another prod, he didn't budge much.
"I agree, the river isn't our territory, we shouldn't be here in the first place" Antares commented into the conversation, sitting down a few feet away from the two females giving his tail a quick cleaning.
"The forest is bound to have more food, there isn't much to eat around here, from what I've seen" the feline scanned the area for signs of life other than themselves. Nothing, just as he had anticipated.
