"I need more cats and felines first. I want to form a small group before I actually find territory so the group can get a good start. It's great that you are going to accompany me, at least for a short while. The sky is beautiful today-oops! Random thought, sorry!" Ghost barked excitedly. I wonder where Tallik is.... Ghost thought to herself. She sniffed the air, looking for prey. They were everywhere-she could smell it. They smelled like many things-forest, plains, rivers, even from places she didn't know of! She found a creature that looked like a sugar glider-probably collecting food for winter. She brought the flying thing down and killed it, sending the other animals running when she did. She brought it back and set it down. "What is it?" It looked to be the size of a plum, but still somehow much, much smaller. "There's not many of these out it seems...." Ghost told River.
(By the way, Tallik was met through the liquid-time-three-threads-at-a-time rule. He's played by HIROITT.)

River shook her head as the canine rambled. "Nothing to be sorry about." She couldn't blame Ghost for being excited, after all.
The canine scented the air, and River did the same. Prey scent wafted to her, and she wondered if Ghost smelled it as well. Her unspoken question was answered when the canine brought down a rodent and killed it.
"It's prey," River responded when Ghost asked what it was. "You eat it. I'm sure there's more around, hiding from those of us who have figured out we can eat them." She stood back. "I'm not hungry, so it's all yours. Looks delicious, though."
She looked around, her gaze fixing on the way she had left the orchard before. "Are you wanting to stay here a bit or head on after you eat?"

"I want to head on after we eat." She told River. She could smell the delicious scent of the animal she had killed; it smelled sweet and salty at the same time-what an odd combination! She nibbled it and licked her lips. "Yum!" She dove into it-it tasted good, and she was hungry. Once she ate the prey, all there was left were bones. "Yep. I ate the fur too." She told River. "I wonder if this has nutrition for the tree. The Annab Tree doesn't seem to be doing too good. Maybe we should lay the bones there....." She pondered. "What do you think?' She asked River as she shifted her paws from one side to another. "I'm worried about the tree-I hope it's not too late!" She almost wailed the last part.

She nodded when she said she wanted to head out. "I won't spoil anything, but it's quite a sight, beyond the orchard. I've only seen one other place, but..." She let her voice trail off, not wanting to ruin the experience. "Don't let the fact that other groups have claims on parts of other territories discourage you. It looked to me like there was plenty of room for a second group in the place I visited. If it were me, I'd try to see everything before I decided, though. Make sure I found what was perfect for me and my friends."
She let out a purr of amusement as she watched the canine eat. When Ghost commented that she hate the fur, too, River shrugged. "I eat everything I can of my prey, too. No sense in any of it going to waste." When Ghost asked about nutrition for the tree, River shook her head. "I'm not sure, but I think trees eat dirt and water. It couldn't hurt to try, though. I'm worried, too."
