Exploring? As soon as the newborn heard the word, he knew he wanted to do it. The delicious feel of the word in his mind was already intoxicating him - he wouldn't be one of those sorry little souls that would stay by their tree for the rest of their life. He slid down from his perch atop the feline, and eagerly got to his feet after slipping and sliding along the grass. His paw were eager and his eyes were open wide, already taking in more of the world than he had before. Jamie crouched on the ground, waggled his butt, and pounced forward. Repeating this process, he looked back over his shoulder and called to his two big friends, "Are you coming or not?!"

Antares got to his feet just after the canine and stretched his own limbs. Jamie called back to them, only a few feet ahead but already impatient with their slowness. The feline made a single flying leap over the little canine to get ahead, just barely missing the pup's ears with his hind legs as he landed.
"Full speed ahead~!" he trotted at a pace that Jamie could keep up, while still going relatively fast. "The river garden seems to be the narrowest, we could travel through there and get to the areas beyond faster." water made him slightly nervous since his evolution, the the water in the River Garden merely went to his belly fur, so he wasn't terribly worried about it.

Silva glanced at Antares sympathetically, remembering her own hatred of water when she had been an Occult. "We'll go quickly" she promised, nudging the feline lightly before bounding after the pup. "And you've never been past the Forest?" she called over her shoulder to Antares. "Well that's no fun. C'mon!" She poked at Jamie with her nose "And you, Mister mini-Nerah, have a lot of exploring you need to do" She raced towards the edge of the Orchard. "Last one out of here is a rotten egg!" Giggling with an excitement she hadn't felt since she was still an Aboriginal

Jamie couldn't help but gape at Antares after the feline had stuck the landing. Antares had just leapt over him! That was probably the coolest thing Jamie had seen done since his birth. That really wasn't saying much, but it was still pretty darn cool! Jamie was now vibrating with the need to get moving, so he was quite happy when Silva, too, began to move. hey were going to a "river garden", Silva and Antares said? Anyplace that was a garden was fine with the male, and he was beyond excited to get going, though Antares seemed to be a bit hesitant. Did he not like gardens? Jamie vowed to change Antares's mind about gardens - he already knew they were cool. Jamie began to bound playfully in between his friends, crouching and pouncing like he had previously. He stopped, slightly upset, to be called 'Mister Mini-Nerah', but then decided it was not worth pursuing - he had a race to win!

And anyway, I think it's breeding season for the fish in the river, so we'll be able to get a snack if we're lucky." he was oddly enough, fine with hunting all things scaly. Especially after the forest vipers started showing up in greater numbers. He really hated those. Ugh.
Silva proposed a race, taking off in a sprint with Jamie following close behind. Antares ran purposely slow, trailing just behind Jamie. He was fine with being the "rotten egg", even though he could outrun both of them in a sprint. Because of their little race, it took very little time to get to the River Garden. The scent of the lilies and sound of the water were already prominent, and the undergrowth was becoming thicker.
