coeus! It was mostly quiet. Until, of course, Coeus decided that it was about time he emerged into the world. With as much strength as he could summon, and that wasn't much considering that, first off, he was just about alive but not quite yet and, second, that his build was more feminine then masculine, the feline did his best to topple out of the pod that had held him captive for so long and finally take part in what he thought of as a great adventure; the best adventure that could be offered by anyone. Life was an interesting thing, both giving and taking away at the same time, especially depending on where you found yourself at different times. This was a beginning, not an end, and so faced with so many options naturally he would simply do what he always did; gaze out at the rest of the orchard, unconsciously letting his tail flutter behind him as bouncing, graceful gait brought him over to another tree, this one different than the one he had been close to moments before. Peering curiously at the rest of the place, ears swiveled in hopes of picking up any unusual sounds that might come from who knows where. Tentatively deciding that he should start moving forwards and about the place to get to know it better, so long as he was there, Coeus flounced about for a few moments as a few different types of trees were noticed before he paused, not able to shake the feeling that someone was close by and so would recline back upon his haunches, watching and waiting to see if he was right. ♥♥ We're Leaving Together ♥♥
Gwen was on a trek through the orchard. Again The genderless occult canine had no intention of leaving the orchard anytime soon, it was just to beautiful here to ever want to leave. It bounded towards one of the three mother trees, putting his paws up on it's trunk and peering up at the pods. None were moving, not that any of them were big enough to hatch anyway. Gwen sighed in disapproval and turned to slink into some bushes. Wait... What was that? It heard the very slight padding of paws coming in its own direction. Well, probably not its, probably the tree. The unknown creature, feline, Gwen decided, probably a male. Gwen's rounded ears perked up as a silver and grey feline came into its sight. It waited until the little feminine looking, yet masculine smelling, feline came closer, closer.... Closerrrrr.... Gwen leaped from its hiding spot, tripped, and tumbled towards the feline, narrowly missing rolling on top of it. Gwen came to a stop when it ran into the mother tree it had its paws on. "Hi, I'm Gwen!" The occult canine barked, then leaped to its paws, spun around, and padded towards the feline.

i need a sign to let me know you're here all of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere - - - calling all you angels - - - Soft steps carried the wisp of a she-cat through the tall trees of the orchard with an ethereal grace. Her pale body drifted rather than walked on waif-thin legs as her wide lemon-hued eyes peered through the foliage, her paws picking up the last of the morning dew. The angelic feline was surprised to find that something else stirred in the greenery – she was born not that long ago, and had not seen any other creature since then. Why now, then? She could not question the actions of a higher power, though, and would have to bear whatever burden would be placed upon her while meeting another. She hoped with all of her heart the other animal was not interested in a fight. Even if she wanted to, Serissa’s frail body would not stand the stress of being hit more than once or twice. She shook the thought out of her head, though, and quickened her floating gait to more of a trot or a prance, covering more ground while still not making hideous noises to disturb the otherwise perfect silence of the orchard.
It seemed that others had different ideas when it came to preserving the peace. A canine’s bark, it sounded like, came from an area on her left side, too garbled for her to hear the specific words. With a location in mind, the she-cat began to take leaping bounds towards it. Though she was small, she was still a cat, and cats knew how to run, knew how to be silent. She soon spotted the noisemaker through the trees, along with a companion. Her lithe body moved towards them, and she bowed her head, making her even smaller than before, as she emerged through the trees, standing next to her fellow feline instead of the canine.
“Good morning,” she whispered, her voice high and flute like as she spoke. She cast her gaze down at her paws, not sure what else to say, and thus staying silent.

coeus! He was right, but the other seemed to have something more up their sleeve instead of simply coming near, as with a loud hiss, Coeus realized that the shape barreling towards him was a canine. Springing out of the way as fast as he possibly could, the aboriginal feline stared after Gwen in a certain shock. Slowly letting his ears return to normal from their previous unconscious movements to the sides of his head and ever so slightly relaxing his rigid body, the other's words were picked up and simply caused confusion to ripple throughout his pelt. What a weird way to introduce oneself. "I, um.. Hi?" With tentative mew the feline returns the introduction, even if his does lack slightly. It would come near him, then, and with a sharp pang of nervousness her larger size and obvious missing of certain parts are noticed and a step backwards is taken, tail swishing behind him slightly all the while. Soon after, a female of his own species would approach, seeming shy and out of place. Her high sopranos and then silence emitting from such a pretty little thing immediately after made Coeus, for all his easy awkwardness and social deprived self, seek to make Serissa feel more comfortable. "Um, good morning to you too! I'm, um, Coeus. What's your name?" It seemed that, for the life of him, he couldn't get that stutter to vanish as he had wanted it to. Oh well, at least his point had been gotten across. "" notes: awkwardness all around c; tagged: gwen (hazelstar), serissa (alehue) word count: 251

♥♥ We're Leaving Together ♥♥
Gwen was completely unaware of the awkwardness that hung in the air like a low cloud of dense fog. It leaped happily around the pair of felines, almost stepping on their paws and tails, giving a yippy 'sorry' whenever it did. "It's nice to see a little life in the orchard, I haven't in quite a while." The occult canine barked, calming down slightly from its entrance, its tongue hanging from the side of its mouth in a slightly ridiculous fashion. Gwen tilted his head slightly as he noticed the awkwardness it thought it caused itself by its entrance. Gwen lowered its head and pulled its tongue back into its mouth. "Sorry about that, I was so excited to meet new life." Gwen barked quietly, its ears and tail drooping sullenly.
